re: Question for Mizzou and Texas A&M

Always respected the hell out of the SEC. As a huge CFB fan I have watched SEC games for years, I guess I would have really started following the SEC in the early 80's remember Herschel well. I though never thought Mizzou would ever be in the SEC. I wanted out of the Big 12 and would have accepted the B1G. I am though so fricking glad that the B1G fell through and super happy to be in the SEC. The only team I miss playing from the Big 12 was Nebraska any way.

SEC teams in the recent years have been very good. It has made itself a powerhouse confrenece, maybe the strongest. I am glad we came to the SEC; to be a part of the tradition is an honor. However, let's not forget there are great teams in other confrences. In recent years the Big 12 has not won any title games but have had many top ten teams, top 5 teams. also in other confrences there are good teams. I think both Mizzou / aTm / SEC will have a pretty big culture sock to the new meetings. Mizzou is not known for traveling fans, and we don't dress up in suits or ties to go to watch football. We do however get DRUNK at the games. Has anyone else noticed how or why GAMEDAY rarely comes to Mizzou? This year should be interesting to say the least.
