Message Posted by ReauxlTide222 After watching I thought it could have easily been 21-17 or 17-14 type game. Both teams had plays that really cost them points.
It will be interesting to see what Saban does in regards to FGs.
Bama doesn't have FG kickers that can make kicks consistently outside the redzone. You might as well not even count those ridiculous attempts as points left out there.

Haha you gotta know they're gonna put you on TV if you cry like that. Just wait till you get home!

and y'all had a WR fall down at the 10 with nobody able to tackle him.
That was a busted coverage by Bama, which I doubt will happen again. There was only one guy covering Shep and Beckham. Terrible pass by Jeferson caused Shep to make a weird adjustment and fall down for no YAC.

I just watched, it would have been a hell of a catch.
Yeah, the pass wasn't as good as it looked in real time. And it was coming in about 130mph. He could have caught it, but it's a tough play.

Believe me I don't. Alabama screwed themselves multiple times at or around the 30. I realize that what I just said is gonna piss some people off, but it's the truth.

Terrible pass by Jeferson
HORRIBLE pass, he could have gotten the ball out to him left handed when he was first open. Still though, Alabama dodged a bullet there.

was it jj that passed it to rr? i can't remember. if it was him, he doesn't know how to throw touch passes. he's always throwing them 130 mph.

Yeah it was JJ, he threw the piss out of it. But he almost had to I don't think there was a big window.

what always bothers me the most is missing out on good TD opportunities because you are up against the half

Big 12 officials will not allow the consistant holding Alabama does for the entire game...BUCKLE UP,..its gonna be a rough night...get your backups ready, cause the starters will not make it through the entire ballgame...

If we can stop the screen and swing passes to richardson we will be hard to beat.
I hope they keep that little screen pass crap up..Honeybadgers gonna take one of those to the house...

Nobody has stopped it yet so I guess we'll see

Mccarron is just as key as jj. Whoever is more accurate will make a big difference. Also I doubt saban freaks out and attempts 50 yard fgs again. Not sure how good your punter is but that could have win you the game if he had just punted.

I was amazed by how much Barrett Jones held Sam Montgomery and was never called for it.

Bama offensive line projected great on pass plays but wore down in second half.
One big thing about this that no one has mentioned is Ken adams was hurt on the 5th. This caused Mingo to go basically the whole way. With Adams back Mingo will get a rest on rushing downs and will be out there to do what he does best-rush the passer.

Maze, B. Jones, Williams and Lacey were hurt in the game too

I liked LSU containing TR more and more as the game went on, I liked that KH played more and JJ wasn't JL throwing picks in the second half
It was kinda disappointing to see how poorly JL played really, I think the fact that is was Bama must have been in his head, because a couple years ago it was the Bama game that really ended his tenure as starter (yes, he had a bunch of picks prior to that game as well).
I feel like he put his time in and it would have been great to see him get the monkey of that game off his back so I was disappointed to see him obviously not playing as well as he can play. But JJ deserves teh starting position with the vast majority of the snaps if that's the way it turned out for JL. Sorry, but I'd rather win than worry about one guy
