Yeah, the guy has already won a SECC and taken us to the NCG but his seat will get warm if he doesn't win it in the next couple of years. Never mind that Mark Richt was our coach for 15 years

You have to be a Tech fan in real life.

33 seriously contributing seniors

WTF do you keep saying this? There weren't 33 SERIOUSLY
CONTRIBUTING seniors. First, there were 31 honored on senior day and of those 31 around 17 saw almost no significant playing time at all and many were walk ons.

Are you some type of Straws alter? You continually use his same, discredited talking points or maybe every one of your posts is drenched in sarcasm.

UGA will win a title when England wins the World Cup

England is pretty badass in soccer.
Of course, the only place where you'll find more people with tragic dental work is Alabama.

I'm pretty sure that he was being sarcastic.

Our OL was a big question mark going into 2017. It turned out OK until the DSOR/NCG.

He's making light of the question marks around the 2018 team.

They also haven't won the World Cup since 1966, and it's their only time winning the event.

So, they're not strong at soccer?
And remind me of the last time Vandy won a football title...of any kind.

I don't think he was being sarcastic. If you look over his posts, there seems to be one thing he points out nearly every time, besides saying UGA will go 8-4 or 9-3....and that's that UGA lost 33 seriously contributing seniors.

If it was just a couple of posts I would probably agree
but almost his entire post history is pretty consistent
with the same narrative.

I mean, they're basically UGA. They keep looking like they might actually win something big but inevitably fall flat on their face at the big moment.

We've been your homecoming kings a few times recently. Georgia thinks it's cute to bring us in and let the nerds ruin your fun little day. It looks like you've scheduled a chance for that same embarrassment again this year.

Why are you even attempting to troll UGA?

I won't argue with you there. UGA, Falcons, Braves...all of my teams break my heart from time to time.

Truthfully, I'd rather "fall flat" on my face playing for championships than play perennial homecoming whipping boy to everyone in the SEC. If by "a few times" you mean three times in the last twenty-three years, then yeah. Sunshine and dog's butts. Congrats...I guess.

Wasn't trolling UGA until your yappy friend took offense to me pointing out England's soccer team isn't really special.

Which is exactly as many times as we've been your homecoming game.

Calm down, Sparky. I didn't take offense. I simply pointed out there's no shame in being compared to soccer in England.
Good grief, man. You're a Vandy fan. Don't get spicy or you'll be reminded that your team is a lifelong doormat with everyone's footprints on it.

You've beaten UGA on Homecoming 3 times since Clinton was in office.

1994
2006
2016.....Congratulations.

If that's how many times Vandy has been UGA's Homecoming opponent the last 24 years, why act as though it's an every-year thing that you're the opponent?

Well...no. One of the three wins I referenced was in Nashville. I'm fairly certain Georgia doesn't play its homecoming games in Nashville, and I feel real confident in saying Georgia has played Vandy for homecoming a lot more than three times.

I'm discussing football with a Vanderbilt fan. It's intervention time.

Oh? Didn't take offense but had to take a shot across the bow when I'd literally said nothing about UGA, just pointed out that being compared to a team who historically underperforms is not a good thing.

Well, that's weird because 1994, 2006, and 2016 all fit into your 25-year period. These are the 3 times (to my recollection)that Vandy has been UGA's homecoming game. The win in Nashville was in 2013 when we decided to let our kicker get a rushing TD right up the gut.
