have you guys always hooked up the student body with these awesome seats (marked in grey on the map) or is that a recent thing? I've been there but I didn't realize the students basically got an entire sideline.

part 2: can you tell our AD how embarrassed you are for us that all you see are yellow chairback seats by halftime in every game? Tell them that LSU should follow the Gators' lead and give the students similar seats instead of shoving them in the corner. It's disgraceful on TV.

Thanks

I'm not sure but I think it has been this way for a while.

Could care less about this. What I'm sick of is the fact we put more visitor seats close to the field compared to other schools. Eveyone else sticks the vast majority of visitors in the nosebleeds, so why don't we do the same?

I'm sure LSU would listen to your request, IF they could go up on your tuition 100,000,000%

Yea, I'm really surprised TAF or Tradition Fund haven't taken over those seats.

Why? Trade them for the seats in the current student section. After their initial groaning, the corporate types will still pay TAF fees (and write them off) just the same. Replacing them with the student section is about the only justifiable reason I could ever think of to move them, but it is justifiable. They are an embarrassment as a section.

All I can say is...good for Florida. They could easily move those students in favor of people that will pay more, but they don't

It use to be ALL students on the 50 yard line behind visitors bench but Spurrier changed it. It was impossible to hear on the visiting sidelines at 1 point. Now we have to holler louder and longer in between sips.

I am pretty sure the SEC changed it, not Stevie. But hell, it made me happy cuz I got booster seats where I used to sit as a student!

Pretty sure the SEC changed the rule after Fulmer lied about our fans saying nasty things to his wife.

It has pretty much always been that way, as far as I can remember. It is a really nice treat for being a student. It is similar in basketball, one side of the court is reserved for students.

Yep. Had great seats for FSU in 97 and Arky 97. You could get some stinkers too though.
Students = noise. Surprised LSU doesnt hook their students up also.

Seating was very random. Great seats one week, nosebleeds the next.

Notice the red area though on that sideline. That's visitors... It was not a good thing having that there during the Arky game. Piggies were getting rowdy and pissing off the drunk students. I saw about 10 people get escorted out after fighting during the game (not all at once)

Another thing to consider is that those seats are in the hottest part of the stadium for afternoon and early evening games. I spent 4 yrs. in that section when it seemed they never scheduled a night game and it was brutal in 95 degree heat. Also why the visiting bench is on the east side as well. I don't think many deep pocketed alumni will be fighting for those seats anytime soon.
