Kyle Field is an excellent venue

I actually sat among Aggies at Razorback stadium in 2013 or whatever year it was, and they were great

Because of our personal board friendship , I will dutifully commemorate Aggie Butthurt and historical angst as needed.

I’d love to visit all SEC stadiums if could, especially Tiger Stadium, BDS, Sanford, Jordan-Hare and Razorback Stadium.

BDS is an excellent stadium experience but the tailgating is pretty bad for visitors unless you are with hosts. They do have a strip of bars and eateries almost next to the stadium but nothing I would write home about. You can get lit and eat for most part.

Only places I haven’t been to in the SEC are Mizzu and USC E. Had little ones the last few times we played. Going next time around. Obviously , nothing compares to Tiger Stadium. My tank of stadiums DOES NOT include tailgate atmosphere. Ranking is based upon the stadium and atmosphere inside.

Bryant Denny
Kyle/Jordan Hare
Florida Field
Fayetteville/ Sanford ( I think it could rank higher if I attended a night game. Seems like a better atmosphere at night for both, but LSU has always been an afternoon game)
Moo State
Vaught Hemingway/ Lexington
Legion
Commodore (if Vandy had a decent team and the fans gave a shite, this could be a gem of a place to play a night game )
Neyland
War Memorial.

Away Stadiums

Notre Dame/
Washington / West Va—night game is similar to Ben Hill/Florida Field at night. Crazy Atmosphere, shitty stadium. Night game at Wash on the water with the roof holding in the sound made it really nice )
Va Tech ( would likely be 1 if we had played at night)
Austin

Lambeau is not on the list bc it is not Wisky’s normal stadium. It was nice and the weather was fabulous. Would have preferred to play on their place and “jump around” at night. I have a feeling it is similar to a SEC atmosphere at night.

hiked rainier. did plenty of fun things in seattle. would love to get out to the olympic peninsula/haystacks. didn't get to go whale watching. true to it's rep, it sprinkled/misted off and on the whole time we were there. kind of a pain. wouldn't want to live there.

obviously, tailgating isn't what it is in the sec. still, great atmosphere and setting. the fans were great. largest on campus stadium west of the rockies

totally agree. it's awesome

agree. tuscaloosa was one of my least favorite places to go. nowhere near as cool as athens, oxford or fayetteville. ditto auburn. meh. while there's nothing in the town of auburn, we enjoyed the arboretum and the art museum on campus. would like to go to the raptor exhibit.

florida tailgating was surprisingly mild for such a fb school. uga was fantastic! uga gameday can't be beat because of athens. the tailgating at ole miss for the lsu game is off the charts good. they packed the grove again this past year and that was my 6th trip there.

obviously, the gameday atmosphere at lsu is at the top.

Can you tell us why you are so ATTACHED to your LSU- grievance? Why is a scheduling dispute from the 1990s so dear to you that you must nurture the narrative publicly over 20 years later? I mean , I can name a half dozen schools off the top of my head that have bailed on LSU for one reason or another and who cares, right?

the stadium stinks but this game atmosphere is really great. i went in '09 and '11. everybody is tailgating on the golf course and around the stadium. it was fantastic. way better than fayetteville the day after thanksgiving

The renovations must have been tremendous, bc I always heard that Kyle was a dump before 2012. That SEC welfare check hit the spot

1. Where does Kyle Field rank among venues you’ve seen a CFB game? NOT IN THE TOP TEN OF PLACES I HAVE SEEN LSU PLAY.

2. Generally speaking, how were you treated by Aggie fans?
I DO NOT REMEMBER. IT WAS NOT A MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE IN ANY WAY.

3. For those who’ve visited 3 or more SEC stadiums, rank overall game day experience from best to worst.

I HAVE SEEN LSU PLAY AT EVERY SEC VENUE EXCEPT MIZZOU.

AUBURN, STATE, AND FLORIDA HAVE THE BEST FOOTBALL EXPERIENCES, IMO.

Below these (in no particular order):

LSU
Alabama
Auburn
Tennessee
Fayetteville
Little Rock

On par with:

Texas
Miss State
Ole Miss
Florida

Most Aggie fans I’ve encountered are polite, hospitable, etc.

The Ag gameday experience is average. I think the traditions actually take a fanbase that could be rabid and tame you all a bit. The obsession with Texas is baaaaad. If wearing overalls is your thing, fine, but they don’t need BtHO UT all over them. So many anti-UT shirts, fight song lyrics, etc.

The sound you all make in the stadium is weird, and previously discussed. It’s not a ‘get loud and crazy sound’, it’s like you are all trying to match a pitch.

The band is a key element in pumping up a venue. The Aggie Band doesn’t do that. I get it, they’re military style. That style doesn’t help the situation, though. The band marches great, but sounds like absolute dog shite. Learning something new would help.

Tailgating was decent, but nothing unique. Your campus can be like a giant parking lot in many places. I prefer being under the oaks at LSU, The Grove, the hills in Arkansas, etc.

In reality, Aggie experience is fine. It’s not bad. The rest of the conference is just that good.

Haha, i’d like to hear more about your experience with this. You thought you made some real friends finally and then when you were in the shitter you overheard them telling each other to be nice to the little retarded LSU fan when he gets back?
