I started to get a bad feeling when the Tigers ran that putrid 4th and 1 play. Why take Mett out of the game when he's playing lights out?

As far as the prevent defense is concerned, the less that I say, the better.

I know he's had a good year. But considering the time/score, I figured the kick would still be relatively long.

And no matter what, it would be his first pressure kick of the season. The biggest kick of his life.

Miles is an idiot when it comes to sneaking the ball.

If I tell you that I'm going to do something, it makes it a lot easier for you to stop it.

I am laughing so far at the responses because if you read them, the LSU fans were saying before or at the start of the drive...oh chit, not going to be good and the Alabama guys were saying, oh chit, we not going to make it.

What does this tell you? Us LSU guys know our team better than you know your team laughing

I thought we had a chance to get in to FG range and try for OT. But when AJ hit that second pass I begin to think we had a chance for a TD. But to be honest I was shocked we won.

I felt that way after the fumble at the seven.

You can't control how you feel, but you can control what you say. I don't mind that many of us lost hope, but when Bama fans started congratulating LSU with 10 minutes to go in the game, I was getting pissed.

For me it seemed like everything going on for us was too good to be true. But then I bought into it on our 2nd to last drive where we missed the FG and left the stadium heartbroken.

Was that kind of a finish. LSU/Bama has become the game to tune in to - for now. Enjoying the run, even the losses - great football.

i was bitching about not just running a power set when Yeldon fumbled when he missed the field goal. When A.J. made the first pass i thought we could get a field goal. When he made the second pass i thought we may get some blown coverage. When we threw to the end zone and didn't get i said "We need to run a screen"

As the game went on, I just had this really strong feeling that all of LSU's mistakes will eventually cost them the game at the end. But yeah, things seemed really dire near the end when the defense couldn't get off the field against Mettenberger. However after LSU missed the field goal, I felt very confident about Alabama's chances of tying the game. LSU gave Bama a sliver of hope and I knew Bama would capitalize. I just never imagined that they would get a game-winning TD though. That was insane.

When Bama got the ball, I felt they had a chance to take it to OT. Didn't expect the TD at all. When Lsu got their last first down with under 3 to play, I thought we wouldn't stop them from getting one more and running the clock.

Alabama fans:

When drive started, did you think the game was over and you were leaving with a loss?

Thought we had a chance to get a FG....wasnt confident that Foster or Shelley would make it though.

After the leaping grab by Norwood, I knew we were gonna score a TD

For the first time since Saban has been coach I had given up. My wife was so angry with me and I was mocking every positive thing she said. When Bama got the ball back I said here comes a 4 and out instead of a 3 and out. I didn't believe until Yeldon caught the pass and I saw all the space in front of him. At some point thereafter I was in my front yard yelling "he scored" repeatedly.
