Kinda like your wife's back hair appeals to you?

They've had one before. Their homecoming queen would ride into the stadium on it in the 40's. Google "Alamite" Pretty sure they had to get rid of it because frat pledges would abuse it during hazing
How do you know this?

Seriously, I'm a third generation UA alum and I've never heard this and I've never had the desire to even look up shite like this.

No reason to have an animal that deserves to live in the wild, locked up in captivity, just for the spectacle of game day.

That's what it boils down to. Auburn has the Eagles because of the vet school and the raptor center. Captive elephants are getting a lot of attention right now and are getting phased out of Ringling Brothers.

If LSU can have a live tiger, Alabama could certainly have a live elephant if we wanted to. But it's not that simple.

Does LSU have issues with liability or tiger shite on the field? No, because the creature stays in a cage. Would Alabama keep the elephant in a confined enclosure, or actually have it out in a corner of the field? The proper care and feeding of an elephant would be very costly. Sure, it might seem cool to some fans, but to do it properly would be hugely impractical.

Not surprised that such a sick question comes from an allbarner.

An elephant is way too much of a liability now.

What about a tiger?

The back hair on that elephant would appeal to a lot of the fan base.

It evidently got your attention, why is that? A carryover from prison perhaps?

Would never work. Too many reasons too list including the loss of human life.
No doubt you are referring to the fans in the stands directly beneath the press box when they attempt to copy AU's pregame eagle flight with it.

Honestly, we had one until recently... but last I heard, he's head coach at Arkansas now.
