Ok I'll say it... You are #Hailstate and we Are the Flagship. Your school sucks and ours doesn't.

Why does it have to be one or the other? We lost because 1)Arkansas was a better team last night 2)Arkansas was better prepared for their opponent aka stansbury got out-coached. Arkansas moved the ball and moved without the ball on offense. State stood around and looked at each other. That's the case in every game we play. Arkansas hustled on defense. State didn't look like they had ever played together on defense. Arkansas made everything. State didn't, because their coach doesn't get them in good situations to take good shots.

What should we have done differently TDs?

Is Jim Calhoun a horrible coach for his UConn team losing at Rutgers? What about Billy Donovan and Florida losing to 7-7 Tennessee?

It's hard to win on the road.

I didn't watch the game, but I guarantee you that Jim Calhoun would never let a team play the way ours does.

This is an exciting time for those of us who are in our early 30s because we spent our childhood and teenage years watching the most exciting brand of basketball around, only to spend our entire 20s watching or shunning a complete shitfest.

And for those of us in our 40's I'm ready for a return to consistent respectability. When top 25 was a given, top 10 wasn't rare, and NCAA trips were our god given right. Eddie to Nolan was a pretty good 25 year run.

You shot 52% from the floor and 45% from beyond the arc.

The turnovers forced by Arkansas' press was the difference

We haven't played a team yet who was prepared for BJ Young's speed. Eventually people are going to start catching on but I hope this goes on for a while longer.

I didn't see the game but I'm betting this is right. We haven't had teams like that in recent years but Eddie Sutton's and Nolan's teams were always in great condition for up-tempo type ball. It's great to see it for a change.

Not really, Arkansas did what they wanted to do and made Ms. State do what they wanted them to do.

It is not as simple as "Arkansas shot lights out" (when Ms. State had one of their best shooting nights of the season...) or "We turned the ball over too much". It was a piss poor game plan and a lack of conditioning showing itself on Ms. State's side, is that coaching? Up for you to decide.

It isn't that Ms. State lost the game, Arkansas won the game as they are the better team.

Honestly I think it was a combination of both.

MSU definitely wasn't ready for that kind of pressure, and I think once things got out of hand, it just discouraged them even more. That was probably on Stansbury to prep for them.

Also, it didn't hurt at all that we had a few players play very well. However, a lot of those plays were hustle plays, and we fed off the crowd.
