sorry didnt really mean it at you but you did say the OC "made" Mateer. Kinne is no offensive slouch.

Yes Arbuckle made Mateer NOT Ward.

Qb set OL now set …. Burkes will be a primary weapon with several younger WRs stepping up and Jayden Gibson coming back from injury …. Now we have a real Qb who doesn’t panick and is a Heisman contender. We tried to tell you OU won’t be done for long …. One injury plagued season doesn’t define us .

quote:right because buying that OL class 3 years ago or the last second money bag to get that 5 star dtackle you is worse than a qb wanting to follow his OC lol … get the frick over yourselves .
Not just because this helps Ou, but it just sucks what is happening to CFB.

Hawkins will be in Norman through 2025. Hard to predict anything further out with too many variables to account for.
Do you remember ever thinking damn, I should have gotten into coaching. I bet that narrative has changed for most. Screw having to deal with assembling a team every year. It's the wild West!

The original plan was for Hawkins to sit behind Arnold for two years in the first place.
Hawkins brother just signed with OU.
Mateer will likely enter the draft if things go well after this year.
So the orignal Hawkins plan is still in place.

Venables is still your coach. Nobody in the SEC is worried about OU

Wow, you are obsessed with OU. You have more posts in this thread than anyone, are you scared of some competition lol. Seems like you are going overboard to put him down when we still have a long ways to go until next season. All teams will have major changes, but you are shooting your wad on this one QB transfer.
Might want to walk outside and get some fresh air lol

Exactly. He was going to sit had Arnold stayed so nothing has changed. Michael embraces competition and will be ready to go if Mateer falters.

You literally have Brian Kelly as your head coach.

Based on what?
He will be facing much stiffer competition now and OU will need to drastically upgrade at the O-line, WR positions in order for your prediction to have a chance.

The fact that he has legs will help his passing game.

Bingo, no OU receivers.
You think we’ll have that kinda injury luck again?
You think we’re not gonna get receivers?
Well, we lost six in the portal. Better hope Mateer chooses soon, because none of the top WRs in the portal are going to commit to OU not knowing who will throw the ball.

Patience grasshopper. Everyone is shooting their wad early. There will be elite WRs to enter portal but not yet due to bowl games. Gotta know when to use your powder.

Sources: USC’s Zachariah and Zion Branch are entering the NCAA transfer portal. The brothers are expected to go to their next destination together. Zachariah was a freshman All-American in 2023 and is regarded as one of the country’s most explosive receivers.
