Perkins interview

Watch this interview of top LB prospect Harold Perkins. Kudos to him for being honest, he's going to the highest bidder. Plans to visit USC because "there is a lot of money to be made in L.A.".

College football is dead.

Not every kid who gets NIL deals is going to be a cancer who causes problems, but kids who openly make it clear what matters to them (and we've seen examples this recruiting season) are destined to be serious issues in locker rooms if there isn't a STRONG program culture in place.

So, let me get this straight.

LSU is one of the worst offenders for buying players. This LB is for sure for sale.

His 4 schools? Texas A&M, Texas, LSU and Florida

If they want to, Aggies and Texas can outbid every other school in the SEC. All that oil money needs something to do. Texas just needs a competent AD and coach to direct it.

“College football is dead”

College football ratings this season were insanely high but keep yelling at the clouds

Also, I really hate to break this to you, but elite players have been going to the highest bidder for many years.

If you listen to the interview, it is clear that Kelly is changing the culture at LSU. He seems to have no interest in catering to this kid's demands.

I haven’t seen a lot of this openly being stated. But saw an OL prospect in Wisconsin say it. All those kids usually go to Madison. But one was blunt and said more money can be made at Notre Dame.

College football is now the minor league. Players will transfer at will now and everything goes to the highest bidder. Don’t like the trend. Dead

Ive been told 100 times that the NCAA rules prohibit NIL to be used for recruiting purposes. I wonder how all of this will shake out.

-My take he is going to A&M or Texas.
-LSU folks cannot be happy that BK has not contacted him.
-His officials will be vacations. Hawaii, Florida, LA

It has been FOREVER since A&M had a dominating LB.

These guys are gonna be surprised when fans start treating them just like they do NFL athletes. No sympathy for college mistakes when you're no longer just a college kid.

But now they’ll have to pay taxes on it.

We went from the poor hungry boys who can’t afford to eat to slavery victims in just a matter of a few years. Now that players hold all the cards I wonder what the new battle cry will be?
