It really upsets SoloClown, he says LSU has had UGA style LED’s for years

I wonder if they've ever scored any points against Alabama with them on.

Well that would look really dumb at 11am, but ok.
The western carolina catamounts will never know what hit them.

Actually, LSU had LED lights first, just not inside the stadium.

I'd rather play under the scalding hot afternoon sun than play under those scary lights IMHO IYAM.

And I'm an Alabama fan - our biggest rival is the September sun - so that's saying something!

Does Alabana have LED lights?

I have not seen them

Seems like all of their games are in the day time. What’s up with that?

Not sure why they would get LEDs for day games - that’s silly haha.

Everyone is real happy that Georgia didn't go imitiate LSU's scoreboard, that with over 90% ads, makes it look like a community little league field's scoreboard.

You're so sensitive about Georgia's lights that you're lashing out at LSU's scoreboard.

Well we had the outside LEDs first. Georgia revolutionized the game day experience with their lights in the stadium. It’s important to me to give credit where is due and Georgia was clearly 1st.

I mean let’s not just start claiming things. Before you know it schools may just try and claim a bunch of national titles that they never won.

Indeed.

The sun puts out a lot of wattage.

1360 watts per square meter, give or take.

Given the surface area of your average Bammer, that's a lot of wattage.

Maybe they could pioneer solar panel shirts to put all that wattage to good use.

This is from February 21st fwiw. If Alabama can show me something from earlier, I’ll eat my words, but it’s embarrassing how butthurt some of their fans have been over this. It’s a great idea. If they had it first, I’m glad we took it. If we did, and they took it from us, good for them.

I think the whole "who did it first" thing is kind of dumb to be honest.

Since the topic won't die and has turned into a troll topic, I'll answer your question.

It's been in the works for over a year. The reason you don't hear anything about the lights specifically is because it isn't really considered a big deal when there is a $288 million renovation planned over the next 10 years.

You can find video of the renovations below.

Note: The $600 million isn't just for Bryant-Denny, it also includes Coleman updates and other facilities.

The link below also has Coleman footage. It features lighting on the ceiling etc.
