Would love to see a Bama/Stanford NC game. Hard hitting and probably competitive game.

Here's the big discrepancy:

A&M is ranked 9th in the coaches

A&M is ranked 9th in the harris

A&M is ranked 25th in the Colley below Houston, Florida, Washington, South Carolina, Louisville, Fresno State, Northern Illinois, Auburn, Virginia Tech, Baylor, Texas Tech, UCLA, Michigan, Miami, Missouri, and Oklahoma to name a few.

A&M is ranked 26th in the Anderson-Hester below Louisville, Pittsburgh, Houston, Washington, Fresno State, Northern Illinois, Virginia Tech, Florida, South Carolina, Texas Tech, Auburn, Michigan, Baylor, Missouri, Miami, UCLA, and Oklahoma to name a few.

A&M is ranked 21st in the Massey below Texas Tech, Washington, Northern Illinois, Virginia Tech, Florida, South Carolina, Texas Tech, Auburn, Michigan, Baylor, Missouri, Miami, UCLA, and Oklahoma to name a few.

In the Sagarin, they're ranked 6th.

In the Billingley, they're ranked 11th, behind Oklahoma (3), South Carolina (9), and Michigan (10)

But Stanford would have to stop Alabama's passing attack, which is proved to be potent. I don't think Alabama would lose to anyone in the top 10, frankly. We had the best shot to win, and couldn't get it done.

Suddenly I see improvements in the post season with the removal of computers.

OSU is low because the computers hate them.

People bitch about the computers but the best thing about them is they don't care what the team's name is.

If you play a garbage schedule of weak teams you get penalized, whether you're Western Ohio Tech or Ohio State.

Those mid 20 rankings are probably about right though considering A&M's schedule to this point. It will improve a little i presume.

Also, don't freak out about the computer rankings yet.

They are designed to work best with as many data points as possible.

Towards the end of the year they look pretty good, during the middle people freak out because they look so crazy.

But they need more data points to be more accurate.

I don't think the team with the worst defense in the SEC has the best shot to beat them.

Probably for aTm fans to be upset about projected rankings that are irrelevant for a couple of more months.

Why would we be upset?
We take care of business, we'll finish high in the rankings.
We lose, we'll fall.
It is what it is.

We only play one team with a pulse this year and we lost that game already. BCS won't like A&M playing cream puffs the rest of the year.

What you did there....I sees it!

I'd put our strength of schedule far above

Houston
Louisville
Fresno State
Northern Illinois
Baylor
Texas Tech
Miami
and Missouri

so far

Ohio State gonna go undefeated two years in a row and be left out, mwhahaha.

Justifiable so. It sucks for them, but they clearly are not one of the best two teams.

Screw the BCS. Aggies may just go back to the Cotton Bowl and flatten another unfortunate big wtf team.

Most of the teams ahead of A&M are undefeated.
