Woo,Auburn has a much better recruiting base than Arkansas. You win with players!Auburn will out recruit Arky this year. Woo,how's Hog recruiting going this year? Rivals ranking?
Your '09 class won't be in top 20 once we find out who is qualified or not qualified!

Why don't you answer the questions posed to Woo?

I can't remember the original question but the responses have been pretty good.

Once again, recruiting doesnt win games, the players and coaches on the field do. Did Ole Miss out-recruit Florida? Did Arkansas out-recruit LSU? Does Arkansas out-recruit Auburn?

The answer is no to all these questions, but the "lesser" team won because of coaching, team chemistry, etc..

Perhaps....but FL has 2 glass balls, LSU has 2, and Auburn has....well, we have an undefeated season and a solid gripe about being left out of the NC game that year.

Arkansas and Ole Miss? A couple of upsets to hang your hat on, but no conference or national championships.

Yu did that with Tubbs at the helm. He is no longer there. This was a question about the next 5 years.

We did this with Nutt at the Helm, we now have Petrino who may actualyl win us one of those SEC titles instead of choking in the SECCG

We're 6 or 7 months away from signing day. Whether our rivals ranking or recruiting are going well or not, the only thing you can say for sure about it is that they are sure to change A LOT before they really mean anything.

Were you expecting some significant point to be made from the answer to those questions?

And one damned impressive parade to cap off that historic season...

Here are the rivals ratings for the last two years. In 08 Auburn was 20 and we were 36 I believe. In 09 Auburn was 19 we were 16. Keep in mind in 08 Petrino came in at the end of November or early December.

Rivals recuiting ranking goes back to 2002. 2009 is the only time Arkansas' recruiting class was ranked ahead of Auburn over that period of time.

Arkansas was only ranked ahead of Auburn in 2009 because Tuberville was fired and the subsequesnt criticism Auburn got for hiring Chizik.

I have already stated that I am willing to bet that Auburn will finish ahead of Arkansas this year in recruiting. I am still waiting for an Arkansas fan to get the courage to accept that bet

You are willing to make a bet in recruiting, but what about Arkansas Beating Auburn and finishing ahead of them in the standings, wanna take that bet? I know rivals goes back to 2002, the question is 5 year outlook. What the hell does 2002 recruiting rankings have to do with a 5 year outlook?

So we have established Aubbie is a recruiting juggernaut compared to Lil' Ol' Arkiesaw. The level of athletes between the two is night and day.

In the last 10 meetings, the score is tied. 5-5

Aubbie, take those recruiting stats and stick them straight up your arse. Let's see what you can do on 10/10. I'm sure it will be another Aubbie blowout...

Hopefully this will end this discussion.

Auburn has outrecruited Arkansas all these years, yet the series between the two have been competitive to say the least.

If Arkansas can (and has beat Auburn), there is no reason Arkansas can't have the better 5 year outlook, especially if you look at current coaches resumes.

To Bert Lyons, why do you think Arkansas will drop in our 09 class once we find out who is eligible?

Darius Winston 5*
Ronnie Wingo 4*
Knile Davis 4*
DD Jones 4*
Austin Moss 4*
Anthony Oden 4*
Colby Berna 4*

These guys are our highest rated and already eligible.

Ruddell Crimm 4*
Anthony Leon 4*

These two guys have finished summer classes and word is they will be good to go.

The guys that didn't qualify were Rickey Hughey a 3* Turrell Williams a 3* Kevin Lowery a 3* and we didn't get John Henderson a 2*.

After reading this post, I am starting to think Arkansas fans are just as delusional as bammers and ole miss fans. You claim Auburn will always play second fiddle to bammer and Arkansas is the only show in town, but you totally ignore the facts that Auburn out recruits Arkansas almost every single year

Whether Arkansas fans like it or not, Auburn is in a much better location for recruiting than Arkansas is. The state of Alabama has almost twice the population of Arkansas and probably produces twice the number of football propects the state of Arkansas does. The city of Auburn is also only 30 or 40 minutes away from Georgia and two or three hours away from the state of Florida. The state of Arkansas is a teeny, tiny state that produces very few elite football prospects and the city of Fayettville is a long way away from any area that does produce a lot of elite football prosepcts Those are just a few of the reasons Auburn always has and probably always will recruit better than Arkansas does

I have already mentioned these facts one time already, but Auburn has won more games, more SEC championsips, and has a higher winning percentage than Arkansas does since they first joined the SEC back in 1992.

I will take those things. You can continue to brag about Arkansas being 5-5 against Auburn over the last 10 years

FWIW, you just concurred with pretty much everything WRT has been saying about the potential of Arky Football.
