I'd have to go with Arkansas too. For some reason I think Petrino is gonna be a real pain in the arse for all you SEC west folk in a couple more years. (Provided he stays put) He is sneaky sneaky.

I don't think Auburn is a bad program either. They just have more competition in their own state that they have to deal with day in and day out.

Definitely Arkansas.

I don't things will take a turn up for Auburn until Saban leaves Alabama.

Yes...they are on skids and there is a big pile of shite at the bottom of the hill. Saban will elave Alabama in a few years probably and things will even out but right now it is all bad for the barn.

Arkansas currently has the better coach and facilities

I would give the talent edge to AU because arkansas' talent pool isnt great, but it looks like AU is fighting for saban's scraps in Alabama so it's a push

I'm going to have to say ..............Arkansas, although unlike some of my delusional fellow fans I don't see us winning multiple SEC titles and such, I do see us becoming a team that is a factor which is more than I think Chiznik can do at Auburn, Saban or no Saban.

Definitely the Fighting Clintons. The barn will waste 3 years before shite canning Cheezedik and then they'll be at a start over point with no depth or talent to speak of.

Saban has a losing record in his career against Auburn and hasn't won shite in gumpville. He likely won't win shite again this year either

Gumps like you think Saban will dominate Auburn based on recruiting. At the same time, you think Arkansas will be better than Auburn even though Auburn will almost certainly have a better recruiting class than Arkansas will. That is typcial gump logic

What does Saban have to do with anything? Chizik will have a better recruiting class at Auburn than Petrino will have at Arkansas. Is anybody on this board willing to take that bet?

It is really tough to say Arky has a better 5 year outlook.

1. Historically and recently AU is better.

2. AU has more talent now.

3. AU will sign more talent next year. Hell we signed one of the best O-line prospects in Arky in Zeimba and may sign the best player in Arky this year.

4. Judging Chizik soley based on ISU is ignorant. Ignoring the talented staff he has put together is even worse.

5. AU has a much bigger budget and is easily perceived as the better program nationally.

The ONLY arguement for Arky is Petrino is a supercoach on par with Saban or Meyer. That is the only thing I can see that is great enough to overcome 1-5 above. And by supercoach, I mean SUPERCOACH in all aspects of coaching and program building. I do not quite buy that. We will see.
