We might look back at TCU 2015 the same way if Ole Miss doesn't get it together this year.

Ok, how about UGA vs UT 2015.
Nah, they won six of the next seven games.
Richt's program never completely got killed. They moved on before it could be.
Now if Kirby would have come out and dropped the first games Mason-style we would have a good example but he didn't. Not saying it can't happen, but it hasn't happened so far.
A better example involving UT was the 2008 OT game vs UCLA. After that emotionally draining game fat Phil's program was done for.

21-0 set our program back, but it wasn't a nail in the coffin lost like the OP is trying to make. That game took us from National title contenders every year to "hopefully we get a January bowl game".

I apologize, I got the year wrong. So it can't be an example

You at least get my point though.

So why fire Miles???
I was unaware that Miles had been fired, do you have a link?
Richt, otoh, was let go by UGA. Maybe you should ask them why they fired their coach.

SEC vs SEC?
21-0 appears to have had some lingering effects. Alabama has been able to shrug off losses under Saban it seems.
SEC vs Others?
I'd say the 1992 Sugar Bowl broke Miami for a long while, and the 2012 BCS Title Game deflated Notre Dame something fierce.

LSU beating Tennessee is the 2001 SECCG. Has been all downhill since for the Vols. Going into the game they were heavy favorites and would have been in the BCS Title game

Last year when LSU beat A&M killed our program.

Too obvious for me to even post it.

So? The fans want beer in the stadium. Fans want what they want.

Now you sound like an aggie.
LSU ain't broke: > $136 million

your so self-inflated and full of shite. it was a win that actually made Spurrier realize he didn't want to coach any longer.

You don't get it. You don't get it at all.
When Spurrier decided to quit it was AFTER his program was already in the tank.
Prior to playing A&M in 2014 USC had THREE eleven win seasons in a row. They went into that game not only ranked but preseason favorites to win the east. After that loss that momentum was lost, and USC lost four of the next 8 games. No one ever expected shite out of them since, hence OBC's 11 win program was killed that day.
Yall are wanting to point to the nail in the coffin. I am asking for more nuance and thinking than that. I am asking "when did the coffin get the first nail?"

It was pre-SEC but Arkansas losing to Texas in the "Big Shootout" had a big role in the Hogs moving out of the perennial top five rankings they had been in the years previous. We would still be highly ranked off and on in the 70's but the days of being a college football super power sputtered to a halt.
A heavy loss to Miami also ended the run of Arkansas being a triple option team.

Before 21-0 people debated for months who was the better coach Miles or Saban... Think about that..
well yeah, going into that game Miles was 3-2 against Saban, and Miles had just won B2B games, including the GOC in Tuscaloosa

since than LSU hasn't been close to a NC and fans want him fired just because he's not having Saban like success.
very short-sighted view, not that I'm surprised.

LSU itself has killed 2 programs:
2001 SEC Championship killed Tennessee for over a decade.
Miami still has not recovered from the 2005 arse whooping we gave them.

Great example.

Texas fans would say the "loss" that killed your program was the "loss" of access to Texas recruits when yall went to the SEC and they colluded with the whole state to blackball your arse. But I prefer your example.

Hard for me to say that it killed LSU's program. The impact on LSU's fanbase, however, has been extreme.

IMO another loss to UF this week could be fatal for our program under Butch.

Miami had been slowly bleeding ever since the 2002 season. But yes, that Peach Bowl was likely the final nail in their coffin. And I honestly do not believe Miami will ever be "Miami" again
