The only thing I'm getting out of this, is that any QB with a good offensive line should not win awards, right?

Nope. Just the o-line. It is 100% true that the LSU O-line was a middle of the pack SEC O-line last year, supported by the fact that I just told you. Joe Burrow's QBR went up when he was under pressure, just to give you an idea of how good he made them look

Metchie would be our best receiver. You acting like you don’t have more talent than us is cute. You have loads more. All throughout your roster. Trask does less with more, their isn’t even an argument. Just quit.

Trask has put balls in position where only his guys can make the plays.

See several of his throws in the Arkansas game, without Pitts playing. Even his throws against UGA after Pitts went out.

I’m not arguing for Trask or Jones based on my opinion. But it’s also tiring seeing people say Trask just chucks it up and hopes his guys come down with it.

His ball placement in terms of the statistics isn’t as good as Mac Jones, but it’s much closer than people want to admit.

I have yet to hear a legitimate argument for why you think Trask is better than Jones

I think Trask manipulates the pocket better.
I think Trask reads defenses better.
I think Trask throws receivers open better
I think Trask throws a more catchable ball with touch
I think Trask prepares better in the film room
I think Trask does more with less by identifying matchups that other qb’s miss.
I could keep going but you get my point. Everything Trask has control over he’s better than Mac. Mac sits there for 5 seconds and waits for his first read to come open. Hence why you don’t get shite out of Slade.

I know how close it is. Jones is 0.4 PFF points better

Still elite, but not as elite as Jones

Bama fans, meet the biggest angry homer on the site, something he is proud of. To make it better, he will make some idiotic posts that are irrelevant to the discussion at hand.

Key Word

Regardless of what you "think", Mac Jones has been the more effective and efficient QB this season. I would be willing to hear the argument that this is because of Alabama's superior running game, but the grade doesn't lie

10. Zaokby McClain (AUB) (63.8)

I guess it wasn't such a crazy idea in the preseason that Cox could start at Bama.

Nah, Trask has certainly improved on this area from last year (like REALLY improved), but Jones is still better here IMO.

Both are equal IMO.

Jones is slightly better here, Trask has reduced his underthrows this year, but still has 1-2 per game.

This is just dumb.

Well hopefully our defensive line lives in the backfield and give Trask fits and holds him to a subpart game

It’s because of Bama’s superior everything. I guess they just finish 1 or 2 in recruiting every year for show. The fact Trask is close with a worse team is the only argument I need.

Pitts accounts for 11% of Trask completion’s.

Removing stats from Vandy, Arky, and UGA games when Pitts either didn't play or didn't play a complete game, that changes dramatically.

In those games, Pitts accounts for 23% of Trask's completions (27 of 116) and 48% of his TDs (10 of 23). Seems rather significant.

None of that, nor your 11% flawed stat have anything to do with Trask throwing people open or not; however, it goes back to most's original comments that Smith and Pitts should be the Heisman showdown while both of their QBs are still very good.

Okay thanks for your opinion. I think a grown man using the word silly is weird but to each their own I guess.
