I am amazed at the logic of some posters here. What has Sanders shown on Saturday's that would justify a SEC program giving him control? What is his coaching experience. Remember Ron Zook? Great recruiter.

Auburn missed out on him. That is what happened!

I don't see Tech going that route though. Prime Time doesn't give off the image Tech wants.

Hiring a high profile black coach in Atlanta may well fit the image they want

and I agree that he’d do well there, he would very attract some better recruits and that would be a huge 1st step

Plus, that should keep UGA from getting the number one recruits again!

But he’s not wrong on this one. Who would want to go into that situation they have created over there.

Greene was hired by Leath. The President ran out of town on a rail. Most of Auburn was shocked by his hire.

Keep digging a hole, dumb arse. Leath was hired by Auburn. Leath represented Auburn.

It’s only trash to you because you don’t like what he has to say. But most of the time what he says is true.

Holy frick, he didn't say anything regarding Auburn. I'm amazed some of y'all can tie your shoes.

Yes dumbass, but he doesn't represent Auburn anymore. He was known for bringing in the research dollar and he did that for Auburn. He just had a lot of baggage from his Iowa St days. AU got rid of him and part of it was due to how he hired Greene and wanted to fire Bruce. He help AU to become one of the major research universities in the South and the big dollars, but he had no understanding of Southern culture. The new President is the best of both worlds. We are not the Souths version of the University of Pheonix like the school you root for.

It doesn't matter that he's no longer there or what he was known for. He was hired to represent Auburn and so were his hires.

He did well on the research front and poorly on the AD front. He had a lot of issues before he came to AU and it caught up to him. All those people are gone now and that is what represents Auburn the best right now. AU pulled the trigger on bad hires. Schools make bad choices for President, so AU was just as guilty as many schools today. He didn't represent AU like the PTB wanted, and justifiably they got rid of him.

Let's get down to what really matters.

Is the man on Iron Puppet's list ?

Glad to see you finally admitted that Auburn doesn't make logical football hires due to dysfunction at the top.

He probably has his sights set of GT.

Georgia Tech is an engineering school with stringent academic requirements.

Deion Sanders strength will be recruiting, and no one who wants a career in football is going to an engineering school.

Why not? They aren't looking for another engineering teacher.

They still have to take classes there.

Not due to the top of the Administration, they haven't made a football hire with the exception of Harsin. The old PTB only have one overlapping person with money. The new group has a lot of money, but not all are focused on Athletics. They are all unified right now thanks to Dr Roberts. So there you have it and just STFU with things you have no clue about. I know that would probably limit your participation on most subjects on here except drinking.

I do not have a list, the BOT/PTB has some candidates. He might be talked to for show, but he is not their choice.

You've already proven you're the dumbest poster in this thread. If you asked 100 posters to read this thread at least 90% would agree.
