Wow...pretty well sums it up. While any major athletic program will have problems from time to time, LSU has decades of football and basketball cheating and scandals, involving University personnel.

It was a good read, fair and balanced. The author not only makes great points but explains why and backs it up with the facts, Thanks for sharing.

It was a legitimate news story. He was only sharing it with us. No need for the name calling which seems to be the standard M O for LSU fans.

Seems like a very fair, level headed piece. Hopefully the NCAA takes this to heart.

I honestly can't tell you the last time I've actually heard of someone using the advocate for anything other than a crawfish boil.

Actually, it was an opinion piece by someone who went to the University of Alabama.

Shocking I tell you!

Also this guy:

quote:

I am a lifelong Democrat. I support and vote for Democratic candidates in ruby-red Louisiana even when I know that they have no chance of winning. And, of course, I supported John Bel Edwards for governor. That support ended when Gov. Edwards announced that he would continue to keep Louisiana’s National Guard presence on our southern border in support of President Donald Trump’s ill-conceived border policies.
