I prefer Ol' Sarge over reveille.
The whole map will have to be updated as soon as Bama makes the total 7.

only florida, lsu, bama, and auburn deserve to be on the six straight titles pic. the others are just riding on coattails.

like it. Didn't realize Mizzou was bordered by three SEC states nor did I realize how many states bordered Tennessee. I guess it just never sunk-in until now.
I kept telling everybody back during the expansion that Mizzou bordered more southern states than South Carolina did

Yup time to move the SEC Home Office back to it's origional location in Jackson, Mississippi. To make it the center of the conferecne again. Then we can cheat like hell...

But they had to beat all the others to get there..

It has been gone since 1948. It is not coming back. If it was to ever move, it would be to Atlanta or Nashville.

bullshite, I got 10 acres on the Pearl River near Coal Bluff that I am willing to give them to move it back
You can't get any more center of the conference that the center of the center state of the SEC.
ETA: I would still like to know exactly where in Jackson, MS it was located. All those buildings from that time in downtown are still there. No one knows exactly where it was located or I get conflicting answers. I've been told everywhere from Greenwood Cemetery to the State Archievs to the old capitol.

And Texas A&M. And Kentucky. And Florida. And we border just as many as Louisiana.
Between this, and the fact that Columbia, MO isn't even 70 miles north of Lexington, KY just proves that the argument that we geographically "don't fit", is ludicrous.

Have you ever been to the state of Alabama? In a state with two of the more successful program in the history of the game, you actually think 45% of the state is not a fan of either?
I live in Alabama. Keep in mind that our state is 26% black, and many blacks are probably partial to Alabama A&M and Alabama State. Otherwise, a lot of people in northern Alabama (especially Huntsville) are from other states or countries and don't care about Bama or Auburn. Also, along the Alabama coast, there are a lot of folks who are from other Gulf Coast states and don't take sides in the Iron Bowl. In addition, Troy has some followers, and UAB has grown in size quite a bit in recent years as well.
