Except Georgia had the lights for games a year before Bama decided to copy us.

Your jealousy and envy are obvious, Aubie. Guess we all don’t see the sophistication in hoarding toilet paper and throwing it at defenseless trees everytime we get a win over Vandy. I don’t care for the rap music either but the students love it. Sanford stadium makes an effort to play something for everyone’s taste during games and I have no problem with that. That rap song is not our fight song. It’s just a song the young people like. Glory Glory is our fight song. And BTW y’all stole Glory Glory from us - your band sure plays it enough- so you might think before calling someone tacky. Maybe someday AU can afford special lights and manage to find a fight song of their own instead of imitating a program that’s owned them for almost 20 years. Might be awhile since y’all will be paying off Aunt Gussie for years. You csn thank UGA and Bama for that huge hit to AUs wallet. Lol

Looked boring as hell, it started off okay with crowd participating.. you know at least 1 or 2 Georgia fans had their phones catch fire so it's fun thinking about how their hand may have been burnt off.. the excitement ended there.

Arky you will see for yourself just how boring it if you make the trip to Athens. I can guarantee you your team will not be bored. It’s hard to be bored when you are running for your life. Sounds like there are lot of bitter people who covet our light show. No surprise there. Guess it’s human nature to try to demean others for having things you wish you did. But cheer up, at least y’all have those classy hog hats!!

We have a better football team than every other fan talking shite about our 4th qtr stuff in here. That’s all I care about. They know it too.

However, that was not invented or started at UGA. We may have popularized it sure, but we didn't come up wiht it.

I believe we did begin it. A Redcoat member of the band came up with the idea of it as a means to liven up the crowd in 2015. Per the Redcoats, it started with them. Shortly after UGA began it, a school in the Midwest began doing it. It's been spreading ever since.

UGA installed them first, and UGA beat Bama to the punch with the first USE of them, too.

Awfully nice of the TECH engineers to put that together for you.

It's awfully nice of UGA grads to teach you how to read when you were in high school.

Oh, of course...not near as exciting as watching and hearing pigs squeal all over one another in a grease fight. Nope, not at all.
