Ole Miss and MSU have a southern charm but and seem to have some sort of campus plan, but not up there with UA and LSU. I have always wanted to visit UT and UGA, just never had the pleasure.

Every campus is planned somewhat. Oh and how do you figure that about Ole Miss?

I would have to say Alabama and LSU rank highest of the six.

With that taste in beauty, you have to have an ugly wife.

This should have been a list that couldn't include your alma mater.

The real question is, are we allowed to take the coeds into consideration in determining "prettiest campus?"

You folks would get some extra points if that's allowed

I have been to State, Auburn, Ole Miss, and LSU. State's is just awful for a school with engineers you would think we could get some roads without potholes but over all the buildings are not pretty either. LSU's is pretty I think it is the spanish type architecture along with the massive oak trees. It's really pretty, there are places that aren't pretty but if you get back in the older buildings it is really pretty. Auburn is pretty too. I was young when I went and was so blown away by the campus I considered going to school there. Ole Miss is by far my favorite though and I think it is b/c of the time I spent in school there. Yeah the Grove on game day is awesome to me but it's the random weekday in the spring where everything has bloomed that is the prettiest to me. Or pulling onto campus and seeing the tulips by the Ole Miss sign. It's very pretty and a complete different atmosphere than you get on game day

I have been to Tenn, Bama, Ole Miss, Auburn, Florida, and of course LSU

I'll leave LSU out since i'm biased.

-Loved Auburn and Ole Miss. I think they are by far the prettiest

-Florida was really big and spread out so it's hard to call it "beautiful"

-Tennessee was nice but lacked trees (and I of course love my stately oaks of LSU)

-Bama was under a lot of construction and the only thing I liked was the strip

"De gustibus non est disputandem"

That said, I don't think building-wise, Arkansas is the prettiest campus, although I do think our Old Main is one of the prettiest big, old buildings I've ever seen. Its 8 stories at the towers, and the tree-covered lawn in front of it (which we don't call a "quad") is bigger than Harvard Yard.

Our buildings don't match throughout, but there a lot of cool old collegiate gothic style buildings in the same theme.

The prettiest thing apart from Old Main that is definitely unique to U of A (frick Bama) is that you can look to the south from many points on campus and see the Ozarks rolling off into infinity.

I graduated from LSU so I am a little biased...but I've heard fans of other schools talk very highly of our campus

I've been to Auburn, Ole Miss, Miss St, and Florida

Florida ranks dead last on that list...and its not even close.

I'd put our Old Law bldg, tower and quad (in the Spring) up against any scenery in the SEC.
