Instead of fans discussing The best coaches that would be available, I return to find nothing but LSU fans crying and bleeding all over this thread

dumbass troll. LSU athletic department makes more than you aggies when you adjust for your stadium contributions. LSU doesn't run their capital contributions through the departments budget (I don't know any others that do either).
when y'all joined the SEC, your athletic department was in the red and had to borrow money from the university.
lastly, we could afford 7.5 million and indeed offered him close to that amount. the DIFFERNENCE is that LSU wasn't stupid enough to GUARANTEE him 75 million bucks. that sir, was NOT good money management; it was called betting on the come. if Fisher fails to meet expectations this will easily be the DUMBEST move in college history. think about that for a minute. the entire sports world will be laughing their arse off.

Word is Jimbo never considered LSU at all. Baton Rouge did not meet his needs. Shitty hospitals and wanted his kids in better schools

In all fairness it's too early to brag about recruiting rankings now. Not saying a&m won't finish with a decent class. But it's just too early now to beat your chest.. Look at usc this past cycle for example. Everyone thought they was going to finish with a class outside the top 15.. Then suddenly when signing day is over they finish with s top 5 class.
