"Go to youtube and search for "Marquette Basketball Revealed" There are a bunch of behind the scenes videos of Buzz and the Marquette program. I think they are very impressive and show his commitment to his guys both on and off the court.
Here is the first one where he is teaching the team in his "life lessons" team meetings. Think we could have used this in the past few years with all of the suspensions and internal problems on the team. Check it out.

Mike has had the infrastructure to get to more than two sweet sixteens in ten years. Missouri compared to Marquette and UAB is skewed in favor of Mizzou. I guess we would be happy with two sweet sixteens in ten years compared to what has gone down the last ten years but I kinda want something more. Mike has not recruited that well at Mizzou and has come in no better than third in the Big12.....I really don't think that is all that great.

MIke has spent the last 9 years at UAB and Mizzou and won 70% of his games while going to two Sweet Sixteens and one Elite Eight, while rebuilding two programs that he inherited in shambles. Those are the facts.

Georgetown hasn't won a game since February 20th against South Florida and yet were rewarded with a 6 seed. The Big East is ridiculously overrated these days.

Villanova lost their last 11 games (or something like that) and still got in the tournament.
Both of these teams finished ahead of Buzz...

i lived in bham at the time MA was at UAB and saw the amazing job he did there. he put a lot of life back into that program that mike davis has since sucked out.
he has done a solid job at mizzou, though i will admit i thought he would have had more success by now. i think if he gets the ark job we'll see him return to his UAB form.

It baffles me how all those posters can say with a straight face that Buzz is a better coach than Mike. Mike is a proven commodity and Buzz is not. Plain and simple.
