Well, good luck finding 6'5" players that can rebound with 6'8" players. They are few and far between. I prefer them as well. The great majority of teams utilize at least one big man. That big man does not like to run and press simply because he carries more weight and cannot "show off" his personal game. Therefore, a big man will never go to a program where he cannot show off his personal game for the NBA. Mike Anderson would be able to get 20+ wins each season but would not be able to beat teams like UNC that I am watching right now that have capable big men. Therefore, Mike would never win a championship.

There are plenty websites on the internet for you to browse if you are craving "big men".
Like someone else said give me a perimeter of athletic 6'5 guards that can rebound and defend. I don't disagree that big men are essential to a half court offense. MA is not my first choice, but he is far from my last.
I don't get why people think MA doesn't like big men? I may be mistaken but wasn't he around when we had the big guy in the middle I'm pretty sure he knows how essential they are.

It has to do with who you can get. UNC, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, etc. will always be able to get the premier big guys, after that schools end up with guys who are tall. The elite are few and far between...

MA will have 3 big men next year if he is hired here. Not to worry.

Mike's on a 7'9" guy from Zambia. He's a five star. Relax.

Recruited the most sought after big man of the player's recruiting class. A relatively unknown player out of Texas and a midget of a big man out of Russvegas were better at the position. True Story.
