he actually changed it later and said there is no longer a gentleman's agreement
porkatarian's MO is that he'll say things are "fluid" and then present both sides so either way he's not wrong, and everyone eats it up and acts like he knows something

He will be backing it up to "in the tournament" which expands the list to 68 (NCAA) + 32 (NIT) + 16 (CBI) + 8 (CIT), or basically half of D1. Oh, and Pel has been eliminated from the search.
I think the CBI and CIT numbers are correct, but do not care enough to look them up, you get the point...

Long is keeping everything close to his vest. He has to. He understands that there is a leak to the media in letting things out. He saw this when he wanted to fire Pel on his own terms, and do it Monday.
He had to go ahead and do it because of the mole around him.
IF anyone is hearing anything about our coaching search, they are going to be media members OR it is going to come from the coaches camp.
Similar to yesterday. Reports out of Texas, but nothing out of Fayetteville.

I agree with everything except this, but I get your point.
Our local media is as bad as a message board. The past several coaching chagnes have shown that. I'm to the point that IF the media is reporting it, likely it's not going to happen.
