Any thoughts on how Buzz would actually do here? His resume is easily the least appealing of any of the potential replacements being thrown around which means he'll probably be the one.

This is what I am talking about. If you want to play with the big boys, you can't keep making average hires who you hope will blossom. This is not even a basketball league but you have Calipari getting 4 mil, Donovan at 3.5, and Grant at 2.2 mil. I think Pearl is (or was) making in the 2.5 mil range as well. That is 4 of the top 10 highest paid coaches in the country all in the SEC. You can have a guarantee long term hire in Anderson if you will pay 3-3.5 mil for him.

Self is the only coach I would believe on this but there is no way he is interested, he is currently trying to win his 2nd title at Kansas.

I dont think that Matt Painter or Jamie Dixon have anything on John Calipari or Billy Donovan to make other SEC school scared.

If Ginger ale counts as alcohol, then yes. I have the flu

Trent has two choices

1. Leave on his own, and head to the land of Mormons
2. Recruit a juco pg and hire a better assistant for recruiting.

If he refuses he gets bradied

Any abover average coach should make the SEC West scared at least. Arkansas probably puts more in to basketball than any of the West schools so its poised to rebound in a big way. Unfortunately, we have just made two shitty hires recently. A guy with exactly one season as a head coach and our 27th choice out of South Alabama thanks to a shitty search firm.
