The real question is, do we need to wait til the season to announce ourself as king of the SEC west or can we just go ahead and claim it now?

Don't know, but I don't think it is really that much. Remember, we were only hot for a 6 year span since we joined the SEC.

Coach Mike Anderson is now an Arkansas Razorback. This phrase sounds so wrong
It's like the forgot or just never realized that he coached at Arkansas for 17 years. This is no different than Roy Williams going back to North Carolina.

We won the West our first 4 years in the conference and haven't won since. We have won 1 overall SEC title and 1 tournament title. We have finished runner-up in the tournament 4 additional times.

There is not such a thing. Only programs of Miss State's stature hang banners for such a thing.
