Also, I love it when media members get in pissing matches saying another person is reporting un-true information.
Dudley Dawson reported that Mike Irwin was incorrect in his reporting of the 5 years $2mil contract talk.
Thing is, Dudley claims to be close to Anderson. Anderson cannot comment on a contract. His contract with Mizzou states that he cannot have any talks with another school or he has to pay, big time.
I would venture a guess that Irwin got his information from an agent, or source close to Sexton.
So who is right?
Dudley needs to watch who he calls out. Let's face it, Dudley is worthless since Nutt left. Proof is in the pudding. He has thrown out more names than fans on hogville the last week or so since the search started. He claimed Pelphrey would not be fired 3 weeks ago.

I doubt he is on hogville. He runs his own board.

Anderson will be our next coach.
This coaching search was no less weird than all the others, that's for sure.

If Mike Anderson is hired, I wonder if he would consider Nolan as an assistant? Surely this has been mentioned but I thought I'd serve it up anyway.

I just don't see that happening. Would be awesome to see the GOBN shite bricks though.
I didn't mean actually watch them shite.

I doubt it since Nolan is coaching the Tulsa Shock currently...

Yeah the WNBA is a dream job.

Do not think coaching for Nolan now is about money. He has enough money.
I think this MA thing is nothing more than a smoke screen. MA will not be our next coach and Sexton has him lined up to get as much money as possible.

It is what he is doing right now.
Nolan might like to join Mike's staff here, or he may not, I imagine both could see it would be best that Nolan was not on the initial staff to "separate" themselves from one another here...

The mods who are "insiders" are convinced the coaching search is going to drag out another week, which it very well may do, but not for the reason they think of Buzz winning Sunday night. The real reason has to do with Mike and a coach who won Sunday morning...

Have you guys emailed your local BOT member in support of Buzz yet this morning?

He is doing it the right way though. This is a much more professional search than what Broyles pulled to hire Pelphrey.

I have still not been able to grasp the fascination with Buzz.
The guy lost 14 games this year and finished 9th in their conference. He has yet to coach a team to less than double digit losses. He has never finished better than 5th in his conference regular season.
Sure, he is having success this year in the NCAA tourney, but that does not make him a good coach.

Where's this coming from? Hogville, I assume?

This is true. I'm just impatient.

At this point, I believe all coaches in the mix will be heads and shoulders above Pel

What is funny is that no one is considering 0U in the Buzz topic, if given the choice I wouldn't be so sure he wouldn't choose 0U...
