This is the problem I have with it. Had this incident happened on Bourbon Street without the college football connection, it would have never been an issue. Even had he been arrested, he would get a simple battery charge and the punishment and crime would have been proportional. However, his punishment will likely be greater simply because of college football.
You are 100% correct except for the punishment part as I think he receives whatever the penalty is for that sort of crime. I don't think it can be greater than what is prescribed by law

An 18 year old pressured a ( I believe it was 14 year old) into oral sex. 20 pages or so on the TIGER Rant consisted of Lsu fans calling the girl a whore and blaming her for ruining this recruits life. Again, I ask, how many of you were over there with the same veracity as you have with this subject?
Do me a favor or go back and find one of my posts where I said anything negative about the young girl.

It's like you're reading my mind. I wrote a paper on this very subject in college.

By the definition of the crime the punishment is 25-99 years. maybe you did not know that.

He didn't say that you specifically called her a whore. He just pointed out that no one in that thread was really defending the victim in that case (the 14 yr old girl).

Like I said previously I do not practice law and have no idea what the punishment would be for this crime. I have also stated in previous threads that I do not believe he should be expected to spend any time in a jail cell.

I had nothing to do with this. So because this guy lives 4 hours from me and happens to want Bama to win football games I should be embarrassed? I will never understand the logic that this guy somehow represents me because we both cheer for Bama in athletics.
Way to understate.
Dude was a Bama GRADUATE.

small sampling of the 26 pages
That thread, like this one, has fans arguing for and against. So try to get a little perspective and stop with the Bama fans this, and the Bama fans that, crap.

BATON ROUGE - Jeremy Hill, 18, and Avery Tate II, 18, were both arrested today and charged with Oral Sexual Battery.
Jeremy Hill is a 4-star running back from Redemptorist who recently re-committed to LSU to play football.
The two are accused of pressuring a 14-year old girl to perform oral sex on them in the boys locker room at Redemptorist High School in Baton Rouge.

This might turn out to be NOT TRUE.

I don't think it's a big deal. It's his word against her word, no proof from what I can gather. Odds are she gave consent, even if it doesn't mean shite from a legal stand point. Slut got caught, ratted the football player out, football player takes the fall, and the slut is probably blowing someone else right now. That's the case far more often than not in highschool
quote:
I've seen some pretty damn developed 14 year olds. A girl offers to blow you in a locker room you don't fricking card her, especially if you're still in highschool

Never said any were. My question, is where is your outrage in that thread against fellow Lsu fans? You've been around long enough to have known about that situation and when it went down. There's but one reason for the outrage that is being feigned with the teabagging incident and the calls for maximum punishment. And it's not because of the act itself.

You're completely missing his point brah.
He never said you said any of that. But would you/did you defend the victim in that case like you have in this one?

What if it is your face or the face of your 18 year old son plastered on video. What should be the punishment?”
I'm sorry, but if that was the face of my 18 year old son, he would be receiving his own form of punishment by me for being so drunk that he passed out in a public place. I would be very ashamed of him, and he would be afraid to touch another drink until he is 21 or out on his own.
I think what the guy did was a sick thing to do, but I don't believe that it deserves jail time or for him to be registered as a sex offender. I don't believe that there is any reason to ruin this guy for the rest of his life for a stupid mistake. Most sexual assaults result in psychological damage for the victim, and I don't believe that this kid is suffering from this, and probably wishes that the whole thing would just go away, unless he's going to get some money out of it.

Doesn't matter. They were made by LSU fans so by the logic used in this thread, because you are also, they are yours.

No, actually I don't think LSU should have awarded the young man a scholarship. But, just my opinion and I guess lucky for him, I don't make those decisions.
