Scoreboard is always the best response in sports. Any counter to it is always in some way, shape, or form composed of excuse-making, whining, spin-doctoring, or purposeful obliviousness to reality.

Are you really this fricking dumb bro?

You sound like a fricking infant who had his binky dropped in the toilet.

By all means, keep on with your excuse parade. I dont want to get in the way of your shite show.

Instead of tipping your cap to a team that was better than you you with an ounce of class and respect you all show your lilly white asses here on the SECr like a bunch of soiled rednecks.

Worth the price of admission.

What I've noticed is, the thread went 2 pages with everyone being normal, then you are the insecure one that started with the "oh yeah well we beat you this year!"

Dude nobody is slighting missouri at all, not sure why you're so worked up.

Thanks, you all had a rough year with the injuries. Look forward to a fun 2014 battle for the East.

I am being normal. I simply pointed out that the injuries were not the cause of the the Georgia team giving up the points they did last year in direct counter to what was said multiple times about the "injuries" and what they mean moving forward fro Georgia. Your defense sucked without injury problems and until that gets squared away any talk about Georgia winning the East is questionable.

No, I entered the thread normally man and I sure a shite wasnt the one who got "defensive"

As architectural insults go, I prefer "Concession Stand". It has the implied slight to their weight troubles as a bonus.

yeah but your defense sucks

Yea, but so does Auburns and you are headed to the NCG this year. If a rule applies to one, it must apply to the other. Also, Mason is not a "huge" step back from Murray. Noticeable yeah, but 300 yards in your first start is nothing to shake a stick at.

I will also point out that the UGA defense will get a few guys back in the mix like Wilkerson, an EE CB last year that tore his ACL in the summer and Bostick at S, who also had surgery over the summer and missed a large part of the year before impressing on the scout team while finishing out his RS year. Apparently, Michael Bennet said that a CB transfer from Eastern Oregon, Askew, who was sitting out this year, was making the receivers' lives miserable while competing against them on the scout team.

The defense also had plenty of injuries- Matthews missed several games, and a large part of the preseason due to a hammy. Wiggins was hurt a lot of preseason and missed a few games. JHC was hurt early on in Vandy, but was able to make it back for UF. Dawson and Moore had some injury issues preseason and early season as well.

Basically, no one knows what UGA is capable of or not based on this year. They didn't even make it to the first game with their full starting team intact.

We will just have to see on Mason. He likely wouldn't be able to make up for the kind of losses that Murray was somewhat able to compensate for this year. However, Ramsey will have one year and a Spring in the program. Park is also coming in early. And Faton Bauta may actually seem some action as well.

The OL will be a big question mark. Will just have to see how it pans out. Plenty of guys with experience, but just not elite athleticism.

It can't hurt that guys like Tramel Terry, Sony Michel, Nick Chubb, etc will also be seeing some action/ coming onto the team as well.

Hopefully, Morgan maintains his 2013 form and Barber cuts down his punt get off time.

There should be plenty of experienced talent and depth on the team next year. How it all washes out will just have to be seen, but yeah, barring catastrophic injuries like this season, it would not be unreasonable to think that UGA has a very good chance to win the SEC. After that, who knows? As long as it doesn't come down to luck because UGA has never gotten anything like that in years when the team is good enough to win it all.

i think the whole point is that none of us truly thought our defense would have done a better job slowing Mizzou down but that we had up to that point been relying on our offense to bail them out and give them some time to catch their breath with success. By Mizzou Murray was lofting passed to our Big Ten WR package and little tikes RB corp and it just kinda fell apart. We gave up 7 because Artie missed a block big time and gave up 3-7 when the great white blunder part 1 happened and even with that Georgia was down 2 at one point in the 4th I believe.

That said Mizzou straight up beat Georgia's arse physically that day and the fact is Mark should have had the team better prepared with the guys we had left and Pinkel coached circles around him that day. Mizzou had a great season and really turned it around. However, I wouldn't pay much credence to how that game went when considering next year's match up unless UT decides to be dicks again.

That game will be a war.

And not one person has disagreed, have they? We all know our defense was bad. The whole point was that we played basically a 3rd and 4th string offense. Obviously, that will alter the outcome of a game.

All the UGA fans have been responding appropriately. It's the missouri fans posting scoreboard and saying that there MAYBE would be a 1 score difference if we were healthy.

I'm just going to assume you're awesome and have Vandy at 2 while dropping Missouri to 5. That's totally ridiculous, but you left it out to interpretation.

West:
1)Auburn
2)Alabama
3)LSU (I could see them challenging for 1 or 2 if Jennings works out.)
4)Ole Miss
5)Mississippi State
6)A&M
7)Arkansas

East:
1)South Carolina
2)Missouri
3)Georgia
4)Florida
5)Vandy (Could snag 4 if WRs develop quickly enough and secondary steps in like I think they can.)
6)Tennessee (Much improved though. Butch has them going the right way for sure.)
7)Kentucky

Let's pump the brakes just a tad. Murray is one of the 4 or 5 best QBs we've ever had, and throwing for 300 yards against tech should be expected.
