This does not change the fact that LSU still punked Tennessee's best basketball team ever even without its best player and went on to win the SEC.
LSU also broke Tennessee football in the 2001 SEC title game when the Vols thought they were headed to the national championship, but LSU whipped their arse with a backup QB who had never played (though Tennessee tried to make their last comeback in 2007, but LSU beat them again in the SECCG with another backup QB).
No one had to break Tennessee baseball though. It's naturally broken.

IN the past 10 years, LSU has won the SEC: 4 times.
In the past 10 years, LSU has won the SEC tourney 5 times.
In the past 10 years, LSU has made it to the CWS 4 times. Won in 2009 and lost to UF in 2017 in the finals.
IMO, 2 schools, in baseball, have any clout to talk shite and it sure as frick isn't Tennessee.
