I had a teacher once that got a nasty letter from a parent.

I do sympathize with teachers, especially if they have to deal with overbearing helicopter parents. But it’s a two way street, I had a professor at Carolina for a summer course who was so dissatisfied by the class’s performance on our twice weekly papers, she put them in the overhead and publicly tried shaming everyone, by grading them then and there.
The reason no one was taking her assignments seriously was she was a mean, bigoted, biased ideologue and behaved as such. She did say that one paper actually was well argued and written. When she put it up and then realized it was mine, she turned of the projector and effectively dismissed the class.
I guess she went and sulked in her office. I did not care. She was an open communist and hypocrite who hated me and the feeling was mutual. But hey, I still passed her class.

Cautiously optimistic.
We're setting ourselves up to be disappointed. This team is probably going to make a much bigger jump from 2021 to 2022 than it will from 2022 to 2023, but IMO, it won't show on the scoreboard.
