You list two Ws and one toss up, yet you say worst case four wins?

It kind of depends on the schedule right?

Walnut doesn’t deal well with facts. Blind ignorant hatred and retread smack. That is his weak game.

They’ll beat a couple teams they shouldn’t and lose to a couple teams they shouldn’t, as is Texas tradition. 4-5 in conference seems about right

They're not beating Miss State or Ole Miss

As much as I'd love to rub it in the face of Ole Miss fans it's not happening

tu is getting their shite pushed in until they change the culture of their program

all you guys predicting Texas won't improve are totally discounting the impact Sarkisian may have on the team's success. Personally, I think they will improve significantly.

Come to think of it, LSU's greatest team, according to most of you, vs a Texas team that would fire its coach the next year, won by only a td in 2019.

Many people don’t know that Texas actually recruits at a level to be competitive in the conference. They are far more talented than the MS schools. That being said, they are liable to beat ole miss by 4 TDs and then lose to state. Maybe sark is able to improve on the consistency. As far as 2019 goes, it was a 2nd week of the season shootout on the road where half the defense left the game with cramps and Herman’s seat was starting to get hot, anyone who watched the full season knows LSU was more than a td better than Texas.

The problem for Sark is changing the culture there to be able to handle the week to week grind here

Could Sark end up being Nick Saban 2.0? Maybe but until I see it on the field he's just another coach at Texas who will probably get fired for running a foul of some booster trying to tell him how to coach his team.

Texas hasn't delivered since Mack Brown, he seemed to know how to handle the boosters there and get his way more often than not. It seems the same story every coach they hire, great recruiting and lackluster performance and that seems to stem from them just sleepwalking through their schedule and just trying to lean on superior athletes to win, that won't work here.

Texas suffered a lot of injuries in the first half of the year.. and they were just a shell of themselves compared to the team that played LSU. Depth will likely be the biggest issue with Texas at the beginning of SEC play.. Stay healthy, and we will prob be pretty good..

One interesting fact.. Texas is not the underdog very often.. but when they are.. they usually do quite well. It’s impossible to truly know how this is will play out.

I think the first year we beat everyone and lose to aggy and aggy puts a banner up and creates a trophy for their hall of champions

That’s fair, I do think Texas was better than their record, I just think LSU also improved as the season went on and peaked late

Yeah as the year went on y’all were unstoppable. We got you at the right time early on the year. Shitty play calling abs early in the season we could have should have beat LSU. If that game was played in week 8 we would have been mud holed

Nobody knows at this point. Who knows what the rosters will look like in 2024 or whenever this happens. A&M and Missouri weren’t dominating the Big 12 precisely and their overall records are very similar in both conferences I imagine.

If we play Texas next year we aren’t going to lose to them, you fricker. I hope the shakeup in scheduling puts A&M on our field next year, too. We need to make up for that very narrow loss in 2018 on their field.
