Lol. No need to read the rest of your manifesto after seeing this.
I'll summarize:
I know lots of big shots just like me at every school. We were having drinks together last weekend and they all agreed Muschamp is the greatest, USCe is on the rise, and no one is going to able to hang with our recruiting. And they all say the Cockpit is a cool name and the greatest game day experience in the country.
End homeristic ramblings.

All of this new shite and y'all still suck. Gotta hate being a fan of a loser

You Scar fans are the ones who really don't have a clue. I don't know why y'all constantly try to convince people y'all are going to be good and talk yourselves up. When the games are actually played everyone sees that y'all are always going to be a lower to middle of the pack team.
Just stop with all the bullshite. You don't have to get so fricking butt hurt when people don't agree with you about your football team doing something that it never has or never will do. Stop looking for validation all the time from people on a fricking message board.

We went 9-4 last year without our best offensive player for almost all season, with 2 of our losses coming to CFB playoff teams. And just to add to that, not a Gamecock in here is saying that South Carolina will win the SEC. So please tell me how or why Gamecock fans don't have a clue.

And didn't beat a single team with a pulse. I think y'all have a few good football players, but you don't have a good football team.

Seems like a bold prediction. Y’all are currently 16th.
I meant next year as in the 2020 class ... that's the one we're looking-to break into the Top Ten.
We'll finish in the Top 15 this year hopefully if we close hard enough and, honestly, there is not a lot of difference between 6-14.
But my bad, I should have been clearer. With this class we've only got six or seven spots to fill but we'll finish strong. The next class, the 2020 class, will be Top 10.

fricking hilarious how many posters here equate optimism with delusion.
I see the exact same thing with LSU and Auburn fans calling out Miss St fans as delusional when they absolutely have every right to feel optimistic this season. This place sometimes, I swear.

Even crazier when you consider a lot of us left or were banned from a certain website specifically because we weren't sunshine pumpers. Guess there's just a lot of people who don't like us.

There is definitely something psychological going-on with some of those fans you referred-to. It's pathological among a few.
In all likelihood it's from living vicariously through their program, having a certain sense of entitlement and being allowed to get away with it for far too long.
If we really broke it down by posters though it's a relative few in the overall scheme of things and some of them are tater alters while others are just insecure little peen asshats who fear the inevitable and are having trouble dealing with reality because they are not knowledgeable enough to speak or respond on the facts.
Yale and Minnesota fans probably had their asshat fans back in the day before social media would have exposed them. We all know how OSU sidewalk fans can be. It's just part of life these days.
There are just as many fans who are reasonable and actually educate themselves as-to what other programs in the conference are doing. Or they are willing to be educated. This board doesn't really foster that sort of sharing because of all the asshats and trolls ... but we can weed through the bullshite sometimes and actually learn something.
I've learned that Mississippi State is going to be bery good this year if their new coach proves to be as good as some predict.
I've learned that UGA is improving their facilities post Richt and they are going to catch up.
I've learned that Florida is way behind in a lot of areas but they too are working to catch up. It surprised me to learn just how far behind they'be been.
I've learned that even Kentucky is to be reckoned-with and that they've made a big time commitment to upgrade their facilities.
There are things to be garnered here if we weed through the weeds.
It's kinda like politics these days. You have to consider the source, take into account the agendas, look at the proof and then get past the bullshite and draw your own conclusions on this board.
I let the bullshite from all sheep humping sister banging taterheads go through one ear and out of the other. Some UGA fans fall into that category ... a few. They've seemed to come out of the woodword lately. There are always going to be a few high and mighty Bama fans but I'm convinced some of the bad ones are alters.
Anyways ... it's all good. It's fun even.

Now, UGA is going to be spending A LOT of money for Kirby ... it's already started with their new academic enrichment facility opening-up recently. But they've got a ways to go to catch-up to where we are now ... and I'm sure they will.
First off, count me as one who is highly skeptical of the assertion that USCe’s facilities give it a real comparative edge when recruiting football players vs. UGA, Clemson, Auburn, etc. They might be better, but are they so much better that a kid from Atlanta is likely to bypass those other programs with more historical success to go to South Carolina? Unlikely imo
With regards to UGA specifically, the facilities issues for football are overstated at this point, at least when it comes to prospect-facing facilities.

Where did I type that our facilities would give us an advantage over any of those? Show me. Quote me.
Look again and you'll see where I rightfully claimed our facilities will simply help is to recruit better players ... and they will. They already have.
Matter of fact I specifically typed that we will likely never out-recruit UGA.
So show me, quote me, or admit you played with the words.

No duh.

It's only an issue for "some" recruits, not all but some.
There are some recruits who go to Bama over UGA because of facilities. And you may not want to admit this, but there are South Carolina kids and North Carolina kids and even a Georgia kid or two or three who have come to SC over UGA.
Let me clarify that for you.
SC has won, in the past, recruiting battles for kids who Bama, Auburn and UGA, among others, have offered. We've got the facilities and are showing the commitment now to compete for some of the kids we wouldn't have had a shot at in the past.
Or are you going to deny that?
If so Crow, let me know and I'll start naming them. Still, why would so many UGA fans care? It's already been established that UGA has a baked-in advantage having so many Top 100 prospects in state and the fact that there are probably 200 D1 prospects in Georgia every year says you can't sign'em all.
With regard to Clemson it's simple. Right now they are raiding some of the best players out of Georgia and Florida. SC/Boom can and will out-recruit them with our new facilities, when we start beating them, we can promise them early playing time and we sell the SEC against Clemson. We've got more to offer than Clemson. But we have to start beating them again. It can be done.
Auburn is Auburn, they are gonna get theirs out of Georgia, Florida and Alabama. They used to take some of our best players out of South Carolina but Clemson and us have cut them off.
When was rhe last time UGA got a great player out of SC ... was it Green?
What Boom is doing in NC, GA, SC and even FL and Tennessee is incredible from our perspective. He's getting good players from everywhere. Hell, he's got one of the top QBs in the entire country committed out of California and I guarantee you you'll also know who Nixon is (a DB) our of California after this year. Kid is a player.
Boom is using what he has to make inroads everywhere. He's going to pull kids out of Virginia next. They've got good players up there that have been going to the ACC and B1G in droves.
But UGA will still never out-recruit UGA because UGA could literally field a Top 10 class every year pulling just in-state kids.
Hell, Phat Phil Phulmer made a living off of signing Georgia kids ... and all of our best South Carolina kids. Chavis owned this state.
The year FSU and UT played for the national championship, 1998 I think it was, those two rosters were filled with stars from the states of South Carolina and Georgia.
Those two have been cut off and it shows.

I guess you didn’t, but if we’re not having that discussion than I’m not sure what the point of talking about facilities is. It’s all about competing with your peer schools to sign the best players. If the facilities aren’t giving you a big edge, than I question how impactful they will actually be.
Of course y’all have signed players those other schools wanted and will do so in the future. My reservation is that I’m not sure that new facilities will increase those occurences in a meaningful way.
Most recent big SC signee for UGA was Channing Tindall this year.
Posted on 7/22/18 at 7:07 pm to Crowknowsbest
Forgot about Tindall but didn't he grow up a UGA fan and come from a transplanted ... no, wait. He's the TE out of Greenwood, or Union maybe (?), that neither Clemson or SC offered?
I remember something about him. Good looking kid, hard nosed. We would have gotten him any other year I'm pretty sure because he is a good athlete, but we're so loaded at TE ... haven't you heard, we're the new TEU!
Listen, what my point is about facilities is that they are going to help us recruit and be competitive on the field. No one is going to totally run-away with recruiting over us right now. In the past we struggled to recruit consistently ... but the new facilities will help us to be consistent, especially with Boom and this staff going at it like they are.
That's all I was trying to convey.
We're not going to out-recruit UGA ... but we are going to be a threat, we are going to be competitive, we are raising the talent level on our roster.
That's what it's all about.
We have to play to our strengths and get the absolute best players possible.
We are about to have more 5* players on our roster in the next two years than at any time in our history. Will we have as many as UGA and Bama? Heck no. But we'be beaten Bama when they were loaded, and UGA when y'all have always had better players than us, in the recent past.
We're optimistic that, thanks to this staff and thanks to our facilities, we're going to beat you even more often in the future.
That's all I'm saying. I understand completely why you will disagree but what I do not understand are some of these asshat clowns claiming we are and will always be at the bottom of the SEC ... because we have not been in the bottom of the SEC for long this entire millennium. We've been steadily climbing in the overall scheme of things and will continue to do so imho.
Y'all are the 300 pound proverbial gorilla in the East right now and for the foreseeable future.
... but we're coming for you dawgs!
lol

Tindall is a linebacker. Very highly rated and most definitely a USCe target, not that it really matters in this discussion. LINK
Oh yeah ... now I remember that guy.
You're right, we definitely wanted him. We thought for sure we would get him. He's a great get for y'all. Hate we lost him.

I'm actually glad you pointed out our facilities. Some Georgia fans have been so far stuck up their own arse they think we have the best everything. Georgia has a lot of catching up to do, and they are finally starting too. The combination or Richt and McGarity let us fall far behind. There were rumors for a while that big boosters were holding out until Richt was fired, who knows if it was true, but it seems to make sense now.

USCe fans have traditionally been some of the biggest “asshats” in all of college football. And Tye Sandstorm and towel waiving is embarrassing to the entire SEC. Please stop.
