Mizzou football was one of the best stories coming out of 2023

I know that they get dogged on for being Yankees; but I've always kind of liked them & am happy to see them have success - I expect their momentum to carry through this year & that they will be in the conversation for a playoff spot

11-1 looks like the ceiling and 8-4 is the floor (lose all toss-ups and drop a head scratcher)

my prediction is 10-2 -- lose to Bama; split w OK & aTm & win the rest

2024 Mizzou Football Schedule

Aug. 31: vs. Murray State - W
Sept. 7: vs. Buffalo - W
Sept. 14: vs. Boston College - W
Sept. 21: vs. Vanderbilt - W
Sept. 28: Bye
Oct. 5: at Texas A&M - toss up
Oct. 12: at Massachusetts - W
Oct. 19: Auburn - W
Oct. 26: at Alabama - L
Nov. 2: Bye
Nov. 9: Oklahoma - toss up
Nov. 16: at South Carolina - W
Nov. 23: at Mississippi State - W
Nov. 29: Arkansas - W

A few misdemeanors, but no felonies.

Won’t be in the running for the Fulmer Cup.

yeah, I'm a Georgia alumnus, so I kind of doubt that

I've got a kid at Auburn, so I'm actually pulling for y'all to improve; but I don't think Freezus has enough gas in the tank to run with Mizzou this year

Gonna be a hell of a game this year. Freeze calling plays with the weapons we have now at WR. Veteran OL, veteran RBs. Feeling good about this year's team. Just need Thorne to not shite the bed and we'll be fine

Also, home field advantage @ Missouri doesnt really mean anything. Going to be a battle but having a bi week before the game should help Auburn prepare. I like our chances

I'm sure the Mizzou OC can handle your 2-man defensive line alignments.

maybe, but your running back will just fumble the game away again

I'm dreaming 11-1 but will probably get 10-2..& they're not losing to OU.

I'm counting BAMA as a loss, beating aTm & Ou, but losing a head scratcher to Aubbie, or SC east or the like..
Cuz we are Mizzou..then sweating to see if we make the playoffs depending on our final strength of schedule.

We'll see

You should feel honored they even give you that... by that time in the year you'll be fighting for bowl eligibility. We will be 9.5 point favorites at home easy.

It feels strange being excited about the football program like this, I wonder whether our defense will be solid and cohesive enough to keep us in some of the tougher SEC games. We lost a ton of talent to the draft on that side of the football and we have a new DC. I’m now kind of glad we have a weak OOC schedule to give those guys some time to learn to play together.

The Mizzou coaching staff got raided by LSU and that stuff matters. Can Drink get his hands on coordinators? Luther Burden is back and I guess the QB too. Teams like Missouri can come and go so fast in this day and age of transfers. Look at Tennessee. A one-hit wonder and now they have to figure out where it all went wrong. I doubt they replicate last season's results. 8-4 is the best I can see and that's thin ice to be walking on.
