What is the ceiling? 8 or 9?
To get to 8 you have to win all of these games
08/31 – Washington State.
09/07 – Arkansas State.
09/14 – Mississippi State.
10/05 – Ole Miss.
10/12 – Western Carolina.
10/26 – Florida Atlantic.
11/02 – at Arkansas.
11/09 – at Tennessee.
To get to 9 you need one of these:
09/21 – at LSU.

Eight. Unlikely, sure, but there is definitely a chance if we gel quickly and have a bounce or two go our way. OM, MSU, Arky, and UT are all winnable games just based on talent. That's seven, and if we were to pick up an upset against a team that's better than us (which we have a history of doing in years like this one) that gets us to eight.

Basing this solely on recent history, I think the most likely steal victory for AU is Georgia. Your games with them have that rivalry, always close, entertaining, throw the records out, two good defenses for some reasons don't show it that weekend and a shoot out breaks out, type of feel.
I think next likely would be TAMU. Only if AU can play better offense this year. TAMU's defense may be a bit shakey. They might have tremendously improved. Who knows?

Auburn's biggest games will be LSU, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Georgia, and Alabama...
If Auburn can win at least ONE of those games, things will be headed in the right direction....otherwise you're looking at becoming the SEC West's punching bag
