Predict Alabama's success had Tyler Russell been at the helm

Many people believe that AJ was a system QB. Tyler Russell was a dandy dozen who was put into a running QB system at State. How successful would have Alabama been with Russell being taught under Saban and staff? The kid definitely had the talent, just put into a terrible system.

Be an adult and spell the man's name correctly. You lose credibility when you think something like that is funny.

a little above average with an amazing supporting cast behind him. So like most alabama qbs he'd win a lot of games.

Alabama is racist and doesn't play black(ish) QBs, so he wouldn't have even started.

Not a bad question, however.

It's food for thought, no doubt.

Maybe, maybe not. It's hard to tell talent wise. I personally believe he would have done a great job in a system like Alabama. Tyler will more than likely be taken in the end rounds of the Draft, maybe as a free agent.

With a good year Russell would have taken Alabama to the Cotton Bowl

Your fellow Reb brethren think otherwise. You flame everything MSU, go back to the spirit.

Even 2011? I think he at least makes a BCS that year.

I guess time will tell. Alabama fans said Gmac wasn't a system QB, yet it showed in his NFL career. Tyler would have been a system QB as well at Alabama.

Someone will more than likely take him in the last round of the draft, but then I said probably as a free agent.

Tyler Russell was a solid qb...until he got hit.
