Hi all, long-time lurker here. Middle of bowl season after a great year of SEC football. What are ya'll's thoughts on this format going forward after the '25 season? The '25 schedule will be the same conference schedule as this years but opposite location. 2026 will be the first year of the permanent alignment.

Sorry if this is an offseason thread.

USC - UGA, UV, MIZ
UTA - OU, TAMU, ARK

I'd give money if permanent rivalries would be cancelled.

It would appear that you have Tennessee listed as permanent opponent for 4 teams (Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, and Vandy.
I think what you are proposing makes sense after corrections, but I doubt the SEC goes to this format. It may be 1-7-7.

Should have been Florida as third opponent for the Vols

If it came to this format I wouldn’t have a problem with these 3, we have a long history with each and they are boarder states.

The SEC should go back to 10 teams and play a nine-game schedule.

Agree w this. About 6x 10-team conferences/divisions across college football would solve a lot of problems.

If you want SMALLER conferences, you're getting MORE conferences.
