I never said it was. However, ND certainly looked better than LSU did. However, was that because Miss. State is that much better, or LSU was that much worse? It isn't Georgia fans who are bringing up results from last year, it is Miss. State fans. Most Georgia fans are basing comments on how the actual opponents looked THIS year.
I do agree with you, that who knows what those results mean. With football nobody knows what any win or loss means until 7-8 games into a season. Nobody knows how good or bad the ND win was, or how good or bad the LSU win was for Georgia and Mississippi State.

After reading everything, I think you are right. Saying the same thing, just stating it differently, and missing the point the other is making.
A lot of UGA fans seem to be taking this game lightly. It scares the daylights out of me. What we did to ND and Wimbush means nothing in this game. Fitz is an entirely different animal, and at this point of their careers, I think Mullen is a better coach than Kirby Smart. I see only one glaring weakness with Mississippi State, and that is at RT. It will be interesting to see if Georgia can take advantage of him.
And, for what it's worth, I think you guys dominated a very good LSU team and deserve every bit of the respect people are showing you. I'm glad we catch you guys this year and not next.....if I understand correctly, you will have the vast majority of your team back next year. You guys just might dominate LSU two years in a row.
