Looking that way. LSU is keeping everything strangely under wraps.

Post if your program's stadium is in the 100K ub.

The initial target was just under 100,000; but with the expected increase in suite size and in # of suites, and the addition of more rows of seating at the top in the new SEZ Upper - the capacity could end up being between 100,000 and 104,000.
It just depends on if additional rows are built above the suites.
There's also talk down the road of adding even more luxury box suites above the North End Zone. Doing so would have to be done so as not to obstruct the Roman Coliseum style design of the NEZ, and not compromise several trees, the new North grounds Plaza improvements and Stadium Drive.
This would eventually add 2500+ more seats and push capacity to between 102 and 107k.

In 2014, the SEC will have 4:
Bryant-Denny, Kyle, Neyland, and Tiger.
Could Sanford, Jordan-Hare, Wms-Brice and the Swamp be far behind???

Nah, it's just for 2014. It has to do with the way our stadium expansion is being done; we add new seats in the south end zone but haven't demolished and renovated the west side seats. It'll still be 102,500 after all renovations are complete.

quote:Is it really that big of a deal? Teams are going to struggle to sell 100k+ seats when the teams aren't doing that well. Georgia has a huge empty area of the bowl design but that would involve some serious construction.

No, it's really not. It just makes gamedays more of a fricking hassle.

That too. The last thing Athens needs is 7k more people to come and find parking and spots in bars.
