You have to realize that was in Tiger Stadium. People scream in there rather than shake Pom-poms. It’s very hard to hear.

If Murray had gotten put out then it would have been all over the media to where they would have better rules by now.

2013 rule change re: targeting

quote:

"Where this thing began to take effect was in the 2013 season, where the targeting foul carried with it an automatic disqualification," Shaw said. "Then everyone began to pay attention."

The 2013 modification said that a player who committed targeting in the first half must sit out the rest of the game, and if he committed the targeting foul in the second half, he'd sit out the first half of the following game.

The lengths that Auburn scum will go to

This whole thread is to bury Bama players trying to take out QBs to win games. Bama fans can't even defend Turner anymore and instead have taken the "Everyone else tries to injury players like Bama too". It's just all coincidence Bama injuries more star players and yet get called for it less.

Just because the refs let Bama players try to injury other teams players doesn't mean it didn't happen. The Dial hitting Murray play was an obvious hit just to try an injury him. He wasn't even trying to make a play before he started after Murray.

" did. I left out that the tackle you're crying about wasn't flagged for targeting, a personal foul, or roughing the passer--or anything for that matter; therefore, it was a perfectly legal hit"

Excellent observation - in history (as Thucydides would confirm) "if it is not written, it did not exist." So if the Refs did not whistle it, no foul. Got it. Thanks for confirming that Dallas Turner's hit was not targeting. (You really do know your football ... especially the parts about the ethics of targeting a knee after a whistle has blown.)

Oh well, Louisiana did elect Edwin Edwards, twice. As an FBI Special Agent once told me, "In Louisana an honest official is one who when bribed stays bribed."

Have a nice evening. And weigh in on that Dallas thingy with your defense.

It’s all good because they will be investigated this time by the NCAA on suspensions of intentionally hurting players to the extent they are removed from the game and that this is done to give Alabama an advantage in the game which constitutes cheating. It is a violation of the general football code written by the NCAA Football Rules Committee. LSU is prepared to do whatever means necessary within the laws to ensure our players are protected, that rules are governed fairly in SEC officiating by the referees who will also be investigated by more than one entity including the Athletic Commission. Bama fans can respond with their usual childish, defensive antics and act like this isn’t real, but they have no authority over this situation nor any control on the outcome. All they can do Is sit back, wait, cry and deflect while their school gets investigated, but this time they won’t get a slap on the wrist. Why? Texas, Ole Miss & LSU will all be included in this investigation, Bama got too greedy, too comfortable with getting away with these dirty hits. They didn’t think anyone would notice a pattern. Well now the sports world has taken notice. Now coaches like Lane Kiffin are speaking out against their obvious BS. Everyone is tired of it. Coaches don’t know if it will be their QB next. This hit on Daniels has never been a legal hit in football in 50 years. Calling it clean when he got a penalty just not the right penalty is ignorant. Calling it a good tackle is ignorant. It proves that most don’t know football and didn’t watch before 2009 which ironically enough the 1st year Saban wins a NC at Alabama, the Spearing rule is changed to Targeting and proof of intent is no longer needed to violate the rule. Bama fans think this is a ole anc it’s just football, but it’s not. Targeting rule is the most important rule in football for player safety. It’s there for a reason and Alabama us so greedy, so selfish, so classless, and divert irresponsible that they are toying with this rule. They are using dirty plays to injure players to gain an advantage in a game. It is cheating. Period. More than that it’s unethical and just plain disgusting. They need to be investigated, punished and stopped before a player gets their neck broken, paralyzed or seriously injured including one of their own players trying to make an illegal hit on an opposing player in a game. It’s football but football has rules and they do apply to University of Alabama too even if they don’t think they apply to them like the ti Jc narcissistic culture Nick Saban has helped establish in that warped delusional society known as Tuscaloosa! Rant over! No pun intended.

Definitely but they tend to murder individuals who are convicted of any crimes relating to Bama football to avoid the death penalty. If a person dies before being sentenced in certain states, the conviction is therefore overturned. If you’re not familiar, look up Logan Young, former Alabama booster from Tennessee.

Show me where LSU in the last Fkn 15 years injured a Bama QB to where they had to leave the Fkn game cuz I can name 3 QB right now that had to leave Bama games early! Bama’s is panned, intentional dirty hits that Saban tells his players to take out the QB! Show me where an LSU player ever hit a Bama QB the way Turner hit Daniels. I’ll Fkn wait!
