Possible recruiting news from the LSU weekend

"I am hearing Allen might go elsewhere because if he does James Wright is going to Bama. Just found out about this morning with someone inside the LSU program. Wright told LSU's staff what Nick told him. Just telling you what I'm hearing, whether it's valid, ???? Nick could have been lying to Wright. Wright is a big target for LSU and they are now worried."
This was posted by an LSu fan who post on a Bama board. He is usually pretty reliable and I have never seen him just make stuff up. I am a bit concerned about this news.
FTR just trying to get any info because the info on LSu and Bamas two big recruiting weekends were eerily quiet. I would hate to lose Allen he is our biggest commit and dont know anything at all about Wright. Are any LSu fans hearing this?

I thought Allen had just been listed as a soft verbal because he was takin visits with his cousin or something. I'm pretty sure he's still solid.. At least from what I've heard

I'm no recruiting guru but isn't Allen a db and Wright a receiver? Does Bama want to convert Wright?
Rivals doesn't have Bama listed on Wright's list but Scout does have them as "low interest" and has that they've offered.

yes but Allen can play both and we were recruiting him as a receiver

still not sold that Bama's in trouble with Allen yet. he could decommit but he said he would still take other visits so i dont see what the problem is. this is what Trent Richardson did. just wants to make sure he made the right decision.

Wow. That sounds so un-Saban like. He's usually all about the D, especially the defensive backs. To take a kid primarily listed by the services as a DB and put him as receiver - he must have turned over a new leaf.

Bama fans I've seen say they're not worried about it and the coaching staff has known about these visits all along.

I have heard rumors of Allen decommitting and going else where.
Allen is being pushed hard to stay in state.
Wright could look at Bama if that happens.
Right now LSU only has x openings and it is a numbers game.

Why do people treat Rivals and Scout as if they're the bible? People think if it's not on Rivals/Scout then it didnt happen.
There's a lot of things that go on behind the scenes and just b/c it's not on rivals/scout doesnt mean it isn't happening.

Bama may have known about the visits and I still think he sticks but it is a different story with Allen than most think.These visits he's taking are to Clemson and NC ST. with his brother.His family is the reason he commited to Bama in the first place.Allen wanted to go to Oregon but momma wanted him closer to home.Now he is vising with his brother and imo that is important.If his mother has that kind of pull with him then she could want him at the same school with his brother.I think he stays with Bama though.Wright has always mentioned Bama but no Bama insider type I've talked to is saying anything about him.To them it's all about Dunkley and Ambles.

KA could decommit and go with his brother to wherever, but according to his Mom it would have to be the "perfect situation." I have no idea what would be a perfect situation and even if a perfect situation came to fruition, I'm still not convinced his Dad would want KA to miss out on going to Alabama. As we all know, anything can happen, but my worry meter over losing KA is pretty low right now. That could change, of course, if something new comes up, but right now I don't see cause for concern. Crazier things have happened and of all the recruits we have this year, he's my favorite in terms of athleticism and attitude. He's the perfect type of player and will be phenomenal where ever he ends up
As for the Wright stuff, this is the first time I've ever heard his name in association with Bama. I'm not buying it until a source I know says it. That would be totally out of left field.
