I won't disagree that richardson and lattimore might be the best, but I find it funny how people just casually say davis isn't as talented. That might be true but the majority of posters on here don't actually know that. They've seen davis play maybe twice and just say that because someone else said it and there are other more hyped running backs who came into the league with 5 stars. And I'll throw out Ballard as a very underrated back.

Davis is VERY talented and Arky will have a decent O-Line from what I remember. I see Mallett's leaving as a plus for him. I just believe that Latt Richardson and ELACY (Eventhough he wasn't on the list) will have big years as well. Davis may slowdown at the end of the year like Latt did. That would be my only worry as an Arky fan. If Richardson adn Lacy are Ingram and Richardson Part II, we all could be in for a long season in the West.

Lattimore than richardson a close second.

Next year will tell me a lot about davis, but right now the jury is still out. As most teams were terrified of their down fielding passing. I think early in the year teams will key on the run as wilson breaks in

Can we wager on that?
Lacy brings nothing to the table that Trent doesn't, it's a downgrade when you swap them out, unlike with Ingram and Trent. Trent replaced Ingram even in passing situations, is Lacy gonna do that? Lacy will go in for breather carries, but he won't be a viable part of the offense...

Not viable? WOW! Are you sucking TR's... ARGUE THIS!

How about you give a reason why you think he's not the best. Oh, I forgot, TR and Latt was more highly rated coming out of high school.

Not arguing with you that he is not the best. Just wanted your perspective from an Arky fan view. Is it returning O-Line? Mallett gone? Why would Davis get 1500 yards this season? What are your thoughts? I am an SEC Fan, LSU Fan, Certainly not a TR or Latt fan. I like watching excellent backs. As an LSU fan, I LOVED it when TJ and DM arguably the 2 best backs I ever saw on 1 team left Arky.

This is so fricking funny considering you are posting with Lacy's cock in your mouth in any thread regarding RBs. I don't give a frick if you watch him in HS, that means zero to me.

Anything else?

Trent will get all of Ingram's carry plus his own, so Lacy will have the same amount of carries against garbage teams and when Trent needs a breather...

.........because beating Ole Miss doesn't make you an automatic qualifier for anything.

YES he played more when MI and TR were hurt and in those games he performed well. He was the #3 going in. When they were healthy, he didn't get the touches. PLUS Bama threw a lot in some of those games. With MI gone, his touches will inclrease. NS will NOT wear down a back so that come November, they can't carry 20 times in a game when he needs ball control. He is smarter than that. If you believe TR will get all of his and MI's touches next season, you just don't know your own coach.

You did not watch the games, I'm sure of it now. Saban never plays his starting backs past the 2nd quarter, Lacy got the entire 2nd half of those scrub games to himself. He only showed up in big games when they were well in hand, nothing more.

I know that Richardson is the best RB talent he's ever had. He is superior in every aspect of the game compared to Lacy by far. Even Ingram conceded to Richardson in certain aspects of the game, that won't happen with Richardson-Lacy.

Lacy will be a true back up, it's not gonna be a "A-B back" type thing...

Poll, who is the best returning RB in the SEC?
A or G. None other need to be in the discussion. And right now I'd give it to A.

This...

Dyer and Davis were products of the systems they played in, and Ware has to prove it for a whole season on the field.

The Cotton Bowl was the only time I ever saw Spencer Ware the whole season. It definitely made me wonder why he didn't receive more carries earlier in the season.
