At least we didn't go down to the mighty Nuts of Columbus
Takes a championship quality football program to do that.
USClight wasn't good enough to have the opportunity to play OSU, if you had it truly would have been an embarresment.
Now, Lat is solid and I'd love to have him. I don't have to talk bad about an obviously good back to say that Davis is good too.

I said this at least once, if not twice in this thread. Your fellow fans can't seem to grasp the fact that there are better backs than Davis in the SEC. They only look at numbers in a vacuum and not the talents of the players.
Then again, logic is a rare commodity in that state.

They needed to win one game to get to the Sugar Bowl and lost by 40.

lattimore played in 13 games also....just in case you were wondering.

The same amount you have.
And we've been there more recently.
So since it's all about numbers to you guys, then I'm going to go ahead and guess that you believe that Lance Dunbar and Bobby Rainey are both better backs than Davis right? It is all about the numbers, right?

Cut the guy some slack. They're not even the best program in their state so they get excited when they have a good football player come through. Can't blame the Cock for getting excited.

aren't all those numbers turned in by the recruits or their highschool coaches?
also you haven't ever seen any recruiting profiles with inaccurate info have you?
NFL draft scout sites have him at 4.52 median
its all fixed, you nailed it
again, you can have average breakaway speed and still run a decent 40

I've not read the whole thread. It's hard to say who the best back is due to there not being one who clearly separated himself this season. The player who had that separation this year was C. Newton.
Next year we'll see. This can be settled on the field.

Didn't take a single snap in the second half of the Kentucky game and left Florida State game after our first series.
Lattimore was good enough to start from day one. If Davis was so good, why didn't he get his touches from the first game? Is Arkansas such an elite football program that there was an even better back on the roster who undoubtedly would have far exceeded Davis's production if given the opportunity?

Now just what in the hell good are their 'talents' if they are not using them? Show me production!
That Lattimore, he sure looked talented sittin' over there on that bench vs. Arkansas.
Lattimore had a nice year - I'm not arguing that, but show me some concrete evidence that he is better than Davis. Waiting...

Fair enough. Talent-wise, Richardson and Lattimore are the cream of the crop, but there are several good, quality backs in the SEC.

Davis was still hurt at the beginning of the season.

why isn't davis equal in talent to them?

I like Lattimore but its unfair to say hes unquestionably more talented than Dyer, thats a huge stretch right now
