Are you wanting divisions instead?

aTm, Mizzou, OU and UTx need to be in the same group. aTm deserves to run the group not run from them.
There is nowhere to hide in SEC. Don't look weak and try to get away from another team. It will all shake out in the end.

There’s no logical reason not to have divisions. Everything fits with geography and rivalries.

Pods are a joke. As there is no viable way to pick a winner without a conference playoff system.
It makes much more geographical sense to move Texas and OU into the SEC West and to move Auburn and Alabama into the SEC East.
That way Nick Saban will instantly make UGA and Florida his bitches.
While LSU will step into the top-dog role abandoned by Alabama. As all the top recruits want to play for the top dog and because no other head coach in the SEC West can recruit like Ed O can, then LSU will always get the greater bulk of those elite recruits.
Meanwhile, LSU and Alabama will still continue to play every year, but on a neutral field for the SEC Championship.
Then when the new 12-team expanded College Football Playoffs start up, both LSU and Alabama will be in it every year.
Like I said draw a straight line in the middle and you get Southeastern States on one side and South Midwestern States on the other side. We could go 11 SEC games and 4 crossover games one out of conference game.

What would the permanent pod rivals be?

Besides playing other teams more often and a more balanced schedule.

Now this is just 1 LSU's fans view.
The Pod system isn't feasible for a 16 team conference that needs a true conference champion unless you are attuned to silly tie breakers and other such nonsense, as opposed to an SEC Championship title game.
Meanwhile, keeping the conference like it is presently divided with Texas and OU moving to the West and with Alabama and Auburn moving to the SEC East, not only makes the most sense geographically but it also maintains all the old rivalries.

What's wrong with that? Not a damn thing.

So you're wanting the easier division.

No thanks. Preserve rivalries and do 8 team divisions
Right on brother and maintain the conference championship title game.
With pods they have to do it will all kinds of funky tie breakers, which is a joke.
It makes the most geographic sense to stick with the current two 8 team divisions. With OU and Texas joining the West and with Alabama and Auburn joining the SEC East.

Of course, I'm not stupid like a lot of other low-information LSU fans.

aggies will be in the same pod as OU, Texas,
No they won’t because that would leave LSU with 3 easy teams. LSU fans hope that happens but I can assure you it will not

A&M will kick LSU’s arse just like they have 2 of the last 3 years. And you’re chicken shite hoping to run from Alabama

No decent LSU fan considers the 2018 game to be a loss because it wasn't a loss! It was a felony. So stick it up your backside sideways.
Thus, A&M only has one victory over LSU, which was last year. However, had LSU played Max Johnson, as opposed to TJ Finley last year, LSU would have easily won that game.
Meanwhile, LSU will obliterate A&M when they come to Tiger Stadium later this year. The game will be very similar to the 2019 obliteration.
And I'm not trying to run away from Alabama. I just want to step in their shoes and fill their void as the top dog in the SEC West. As most of the elite of the elite recruits want to play for the top dog and because there is no other head coach in the SEC West that can recruit consistently as good as Ed O, that means LSU will inevitably get the greater bulk of those elite recruits.
Furthermore, LSU and Alabama will still play every year, but on a neutral field for the SEC Championship title.
Meanwhile, Texas will be beating A&M and making A&M their bitch every freaking year.

Okay cool.
LSU is 1-2 against Jimbo btw, and is too poor to survive the NIL changes.
At this point I just want Texas, LSU, OU, Arkansas, Alabama, and Auburn every fricking year. frick everyone else. MSST and USC can play us sometimes too. They’re alright.
