I agree about the committee, they need to go. It was a shite idea from day 1
But using any "rankings system" to determine the teams needs to die as well
The future is autobids. For the SEC, you'd have 4 autobids:
#1 Alabama SEC Champs
#2 Georgia
The next two would be determined by play-in games (on what would previously be the Conference Championship weekend)
#3 Ole Miss vs. #6 Texas
#4 Texas A&M vs. #5 Oklahoma
The winner of those games would join Alabama and Georgia in the playoff.
Big 10 would get 4 autobids. Process same as SEC
ACC and Big XII get 2 autobids each (although I have a unique idea for them playing each other as play in games.
Top 2 G5 Conference Champs play each other in a Play-In game for their spot

After this weekend of games, some BCS-type metric seeds the teams
There is no effing eye test
There is no stupid reasoning by the committee
All the BS is gone

They need to get rid of all auto bids and just go with the highest 12 ranked teams.
They also need to get people better than Hunter Yurachek on the committee.
