Yep. I've never even seen anything happen on MARTA. I've never once felt unsafe here.

I say Birmingham gets in on the bidding.. Didnt they once upon a time bid for the Olympics, lol with Langford or the previous mayor.. I cant see this being much of an obstacle

I've ridden on the MARTA 3 or 4 times and someone tried to hit my friend on one of those trips. He was walking toward the train and some random swung at him.

Anyone who hates NOLA under 25 probably is some over zealous FGT.

Yes, because people who live in Atlanta can admit that it has it's faults. People in NOLA see absolutely not faults.

I've ridden on MARTA many many times, and the only bad things I've seen are the panhandlers and people talking to themselves. That's common of any urban area.

But apparently not dangerous enough to scare off the NCAA, Roger Goodell, or David Stern.

It's all about money.. Do you see Goodell, Stern and the NCAA living down here.. No.. It's all about $$$. What about major corporations... they are few far and inbetween.. You guage a city by what is established there not what games they can host for a day.

Nothing like talking in sweeping generalizations. If you seriously don't think New Orleans doesn't offer things Atlanta can't then there isn't a point in me arguing with such stupidity.
