I like Pittman. Good for him, he gets to retire a head coach with a winning record. He faced a tough schedule every year, and Arky lost a lot of close contests.

HY just confirmed in the press conference they negotiated his buyout down to what it would have been had he had a losing record. Stated it was obvious he would have fallen below the threshold and used that principle for negotiation.
So we didn't lose any money getting him out early.
