It wasn't me Karen but I was the 2nd down vote. Thanks for thinking of me as usual

Lol, liar. You had to quickly get your second account on to downvote, because you knew you were busted. Too easy.

I watched him score 69 points against Alabama when I was in high school. If I remember correctly he scored over 40 points in the 2nd half alone! LSU still lost.

When Pete Maravich holds your arena's single game scoring record, it's time to build a new arena.

Exactly. I knew you couldn’t resist a thread about an LSU legend.

So your stance is you created this thread because you wanted a response from me?

Dumb, got it. Nothing meant by trolling the unnamed player.

Describing Pete as "a simple volume shooter" & "not very good". Uneducated bias is always amusing but in this case, sad & pathetic. Did any of his negators ever see him play, or tapes of his games? They are out there, all over YouTube. Pretty sure HOF'ers Bob Cousey, Magic, Oscar Robinson, Elgin Baylor,Bird, etc etc etc all know more about Pete's abilities than any of the dummies combined here. Had ESPN existed back then, he would have been more famous than MJ. Cousey in particular loved Pete's play.

What a dumb take. He was a beloved teammate at all levels.

Did you know that Pistol Pete had 70 more assists than anyone else in the SEC his senior year? That’s a crazy wide margin to lead the conference.
