Out of honesty, I couldn't stand Arkansas when Air P was coaching because the Hogs were built to win and I hated it as an LSU fan. Now I just can't understand the bad luck the program has been dealt to lead to this. Hope they come out of this mess because we are all SEC fans here.

The good people of Arkansas deserve a competitive football team.
I am a Morris fan, liked the hire and still do. Hard to transition from what Bret was doing with the program direction wise to where Morris is taking it. It is not easy to go from a spread up tempo offense to a pro style/ball control type or vice versa. "Coaching", even at a high level, is not going to fix that type of personnel problem immediately. You can only scheme around it and that doesn't appear to be going well at this time. Hard to tell though with what Bret left him on the O-Line.
Regime change also tends to make some of the apples in the bunch go bad. Hard to tell exactly what is going on over there, but hopefully Morris gets them straightened out.

It’s all fine and good to use the excuse that the players don’t fit his scheme. And it’s probably true. As a good coach though, it’s not only his job to recruit players that fit his schemes, which he’s probably doing, but also fit a scheme to the players he has now. A good coach isn’t just a prisoner of one type of scheme if he doesn’t have the personnel. He adapts his scheme to fit what he has. There’s no excuse for losing that bad to north Texas if you are Arkansas. Quit trying to jam your round shite in a square hole coach! Everyone knew it was gonna be a struggle this year for Arkansas but as a coach he owes it to his current players to figure out a way to be competitive when they should be. Even if he didn’t recruit those players. They are his now. The fans are his now. Figure out how to get the most out of what you have.

We all want Morris to succeed, but that is impossible this year due to having no quality QB's. We threw 6 INT's last week, lol.
